3 level 10s for my first mission.

I just won 4 subbrackets and came in top 10 for the TaT.


Did they already fix? Or am I just spectacularly lucky / you guys are all cursed?

Heroic is for new players, middle tier is a nightmare, haha. Wiped 3 times on the third mission already. Too heroic, my highest level is invisible woman at 65. .... And the patch is not allowed, nor is the punisher.

i was playing The Best There Is tournament and am sitting in the top10 waiting for end time to get closer before i push again, and then Heroic Mode came out so I tried it out and got **** over by mmr.

and so here I am trying to do well in one event which is affecting how well i do in another event, or in this case - not well. im still sitting on 10pts.

i dont even need the rewards from Best There Is, I just want to play and have fun all the while this **** mmr keeps going up and has seriously **** all the enjoyment out. at least with TaT, I could use my preferred characters and beat those level 230 missions with careful playing.

This Heroic mode is complete ****.
So what now? I have to purposefully do bad at events to return myself to a state of competativeness?

Actually, in the Demiurge cut of Avengers, Hulk and Iron man get one-shotted by a Chitauri grunt, Thor is incapable of lifting his own hammer, and Hawkeye doesn't know how to aim. Black Widow tries to use her more effective skills but gets stuck in the wrong outfit.

Guy in 2nd in my bracket has 600+ points and all he has is an iron lvl 35, jug lvl 8, thor lvl 8 and hulk lvl 15. One man army.

After coming in 4th angrily yesterday, my first mission is 21's. Entire roster is locked for anything higher than level 33. IW 1 cover us my second strongest char, only have the 1 red cover 2* wolfie from the best progression, sold my 85.

Dont even know if I want to enter. Sold Thor too, scrap that tourney.

Come on d3, why didnt you play it safe and go with a hulk style event? The progression/placement awards change was really cool, but the scaling is just downright silly and broken, not to mention a pr nightmare. Definitely one of the worst weeks for a game ive seen throughout my gaming career.

OSCORP Heroic has forced me to register just so I can add my voice of dissent. I'm somewhere between casual and hardcore. I've sunk around $40 into the game, and I play every day. I've placed top 5/10 in some events, less in others. (Doesn't help being in the UK. Most events finish when I'm in bed in the wee small hours!)

I'm rapidly losing patience with this game. I can't remember the last time a recruit token (Standard, Heroic, other) was any use to me. At least two weeks ago. I reckon I've used 60-70 tokens since then, ISO fodder only. If I get one more Captain America cover....

My Spidey is 2/0/1, maxed out at level 28, and I can't get another cover for anything. And without a decent Spidey, this event is nearly impossible. I have a decent OBW (5/5/2, lvl 61 and rising), but can't use her! I got past the second mission (daken), just, but the Hammer goons are destroying my current best combo (this tourney only) of Wolvie 85, Modern Hawkeye 85, GSBW 56 (maxed at current cover level).

So, my situation as a player. I've completed the prologue. I can do a bit of the Wolvie tourney, but don't have Patch and a lvl 50 X-Force, so I've limited scope there. I haven't looked at the Thor tourney yet, as I thought I'd throw my effort (and boosts/health packs) into OSCORP first. However, three missions in and I'm on ice, waiting for health packs and thinking there's no point, because with my roster I'm not going to place well OR get useful progression rewards.

I'm completely hacked off! The only reason I'm hanging in just now is I feel I should get my money's worth out of the game. But I'm nearly done.

So, Devs, is this what you're going for? Frustrated, fed-up players? If so, kudos. You're succeeding! If not, you need to rapidly rethink your strategy, or my honest belief is this game has a limited lifespan.
