For final sub it's 1320 in one times and 5400 in repeatables. Theoretical maximum of 33,720, more than likely 30 + change plus a thousand something from the main node.

Making an exteremely bad assumption that the final 2 nodes won't scale into the 3xx range by event's end.

Ya know, that special place where only boosts, greencrit.png s, and sacrificed goats can help you. icon_e_wink.gif

But honestly, I'm currently @ 43K with 9 hrs to go, no healthpack.png s, and half of my front page down and the other half injured. I can't reconcile those two facts to say that the icon_kamalakhan.pnggreenflag.png top prog is obtainable at this time...but I'll see where I end up after the morning clear.(hint: needs to be ~50K for a realistic shot.)
  • Actually slipped into top ten at the very end. Somebody stopped, I guess, and I was able to get about 2500 points ahead of #11 by the 3 minute mark. I didn't think I'd be able to do it.

GOT MY COVER! unfortunately it put me in the top 25, so now i work on pvp... hopefully i will slip under the top 50 so i can get my daredevil cover.. still transitioning, so a 4star is of no help and no roster space for him.
  • I used my "Girl's Night Out" team on the HoodNeto node (it scaled up to 305 by the time I was on it) and managed to clear it three times before the health loss just became too much.

    Girl's Night Out:

Captain Marvel *** - Black stun, AP generation in red and black, and red skill can clear out a couple of magneto shield tiles if needed.
She-Hulk *** - Red board shakeup/AoE damage, green heal (didn't use) and blue clear out a couple of magneto shield tiles if needed.
Storm ** - Green board shakeup/clear/AP generation, passive reflection of high damage, blue stun/AoE.

Didn't boost, targeted down Hood first, stunning Magneto when the opportunities came up.

I think I'm gonna have to write off this event now. I'm in Slice 1 and the last sub just started. I'm currently 4.5k behind #50 with 29,633 pts. Can't see myself grinding on time to make up the loss, and I don't believe there are enough points left for the last progression reward.

Not too crushed by it, as I did not earn a Khan cover from her intro, nor was I playing optimally. I thought I could squeak by with the one earned from PvP, but by then I had already dropped out of Top 50.

Event just finished with me at 52. My final score was 50,953, 951 pts behind #50. Sigh...not gonna torment myself with "What if's?"

On the plus side, I did get a 3* from the last TaT token. It was Magneto, which I maxed out way before his rework.

Tried it. DP jumped in front and took a Magnetized Projectiles WAY before I even got half the purple I needed. It seems like unless you luck into an EXTREMELY favorable board from the very first turn, you might as well quit out.

It helps that my DP is only lvl 63, with 2/2/2. If i plan on whaling a board, i always get DP down in hp before going in, so no chances of him jumping in front of anyone, brought Doom to tank purples.

DP Whales works from teamups, get some DP TU's from the alliance, put in some tanky characters, boost TU AP, maybe throw in Mororo, usually easier to farm teamups on any given board.

Went in with Patch and Sentry to tank while I farmed purple for Whales. Won't work for me again as I only recently started making sure I had a victory with Deadpool every day to stockpile points. But at least this gets me closer to my KK cover. Only need about 3500 more points and I've got about 10 hours left in the event.
  • Why do people talk as if there is strategy for Business Partners? If the board is heavy in blue or red, you'll usually lose. If not, you usually have a chance. Note that the AI's preference to match TU is a very strong move in this particular setup because less TUs = more Dormammu's Aid.

The only thing that remotely resembles strategy would be to immediately get an Iron Fist's purple going regardless of how the board looks like (if you somehow have 6 purple AP you can wait, but you can't wait on 5 purple AP because The Hood can steal it), because if you're lucky you pick up enough black for Surgical Strike, and if not saturating the board with black will reduce The Hood's ability to steal in other colors, and hopefully wiping out some blue/red tiles and slow down Magneto.

Doom helps in ridding the board of blues and causing cascades in your favor as well.

Having enough to cast Technopathic Strike implies you already beat them to blue, and you'd be well on your way to victory when you beat that team to blue. But beating them to blue is the hard part.

Well, a month ago I could've boosted +6, made a blue match, stun CMag, then make a red match and one-shot Hood, and then clean up CMag before he got unstunned. But SOME PEOPLE had to spam the board begging for a GT nerf and boost nerf, aaaaaaaaand here we are.
  • used the most degenerate combos I could think of to finish of the meeting latter nodes- Thor/Loki/doesn't matter hulk/2*Storm/mag

i hope ARES comes back in the Next PVE having a level 90 and not be able to play them 90% of the time sucks

watch them take out wolvie next time lol
  • I'd be happy if I never have to sit through another event with buffed Ares, especially when he's passively gaining AP from minions. Onslaught and Sunder easily killed my freshly healed team almost every time, or I'd randomly slip into a Rampage depending on the board. Unless you have a decent counter to him you're SOL and when he's buffed to >100 he can almost 1 shot Storm/OBW if he sits on it for a couple of turns.

On another note, apparently grinding down every node to 1/2 or 1/3 daily apparently wasn't enough for the progression rewards, I finished with about 55k points and was pissed to see that after all that time sunk into the event I wasn't even close to getting the Kamala cover (A few sub events I was actually first for a while because I had farmed them as low as I could possibly go) I really hope they don't expect you to sink 8+ hours a day into farming just to get progression rewards from PvE events in the future.

(Yes my roster is terrible, I'm trying to build up any 3*s and had to sell off my 2*s to do it, so all I have are Wolverine, Thor, OBW, CStorm and random lvl 100 3*s)
  • I've been able to clear business partners with Xforce, LDaken, and Deadpool. Deadpool's red and LDaken blue get me close to taking down Hood. Then hope to pull off surgical on Magneto.
