Good lord. It's buried inside the Help menu?? I'm just shy of 400 days and I've never thought to look there for anything.

It's also a nice out-of-the-way place to store your EULA, privacy policy or any other documents with submarine implicit acceptance clauses in a way that's totally not attempting to subvert EU legislation.
    It's just great! ಠ_ಠ

Out of a sense of decency and good business practice, please put up an in-game notice to alert everyone of these changes.

The character balance post went in-game the same day it was posted in the forums. You can find it by selecting the gear icon/Help/"What's New In MPQ."

Unfortunately, it can be hard to find, but thankfully some players do check the FAQ and access the info there. As you'll see in many of the posts in "What's New" we encourage players to visit the forums. We don't have the ability to have working links in the "Message of the Day," but that functionality is on schedule to be added soon.

    This response is gold!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I had to make a new post about that response. I almost missed it, since I read the first page or so and figured that there wouldn't be a response. On a whim, I came back to read some more.

Unfortunately it's hard to find? Easy solution: add this information the the HP sale popup that comes up every time we open the game. You can even phrase it: See Our Exciting New Character Updates!!! You can find them by selecting the gear icon/Help/"What's New in MPQ." Done. Should take minutes to implement and be in the game immediately.

If you don't do this or something similar, you're deliberately trying to deceive the playerbase whether it meets the legal definition of fraud or not.

There is no excuse at all for not flagging these changes in-game.

    Poor show.
  • Can someone tell me when What's new in MPQ was added to the game?

    1) At minimum there should absolutely be an in-game announcement of why one of the workhorse 2* characters isn't going work like he used to anymore.

    2) Characterizing the Ragnarok changes as a "buff" in contrast to the MNMags, 4* Thor, IF and Mystique nerfs is, er, generous. Both IF and Mystique came out of this round of reworks much better off than ol' Rags.

Nobody knows. It just sprang up overnight at one time.

Sprang up might be overstating it. It's more like it crawled under a log in the woods out back one night.

All the good jokes use that line.

On the moon. In a parallel universe accessible only by mystic incantation.

Uh...I play on Steam, and when I click Help in the options menu (located under the resolution option) I am provided with nothing but the email address to contact customer support. No announcements, no suggestion to visit the forums, nothing else.

Either I am a basket case or the Steam version at least does not have the correct redirection process.

    Also, ninja'd.

Browser integration with the Steam versions never worked 100% corrrectly.

I love how he admits its hard to find. I'll tell you what's not hard to find. Those popup windows that appear EVERY time you open the app which announces all sorts of things. I even remember when you announced the balancing of 2* Wolvie and Thor there. So, there's really no excuse. It would take you all of 2 seconds to put up a pop up that informs everyone that you'll be "balancing!" some important heroes so everyone should check out the forums for details. Instead you're more than willing to continue taking people's money and have gone the extra mile by having a sale the week before these nerfs go into effect. What a coincidence. You're not kidding anyone btw and I imagine you'll be getting a large number of charge backs and support tickets next Monday when this does happen. Good thing you guys thought to hide that What's New MPQ in a spot where NO ONE in this thread has ever thought to look for it. icon_eek.gificon_eek.gif

You should have known browser integration never works 100% so since you should have known that, you cannot complain about not receiving news on nerfs that you should have known were part of the game. icon_lol.gif

    Wait, what? What is this?

How long has this been in the game?

I'm on day 506 and it's literally the first time I've seen this.

I'm on day 257 or so and I never knew about it either. I'd bet if you added up all the MPQ players and their days played that didn't know about this it would literally amount to more days than Marvel Comics has existed (which may be about 28000 days or so).

Wait, are you sure you wanted to use the plural form of the word "player"?

Remember, it doesn't count if you work for the company.
