I am in top 50 right now, but I have no desire to push so hard for 1 extra cover. I will only clear once each node and that's it. If I make it top 150 fine. IF will be nerfed anyway. I am getting tired of the dev lame tricks. Release an OP character to have everyone hyped - some probably spent $100s already trying to get his tokens - and then show your responsible side and balance him. Most likely before the event ends.

    I'm not sure where the line is. One way to tell: do you frequently recognize forumites in your PVE brackets? If so, you're probably a vet, if not you probably aren't. But, unfortunately, there's no way for me to tell you for sure, or for you to know for sure, unless you join a bracket.

    That pretty much sums up PvE: frustrating job that you can't wait to be over rather than fun game.

    Slice 3 is at 832 now, leader is xrage at almost 54k, top 10 just over 45k.

    To chime in on the 'insane grind' you face when you join a late new bracke, I've always thought of it as part of the risk/reward for not having to play a PVP for the time it is 'intended to be played' but that could be just me as I haven't joined late that often. I find that joining after about 18-24 hours after the start of a PVP you get pretty much the same result as joining very late. One you have to grind quite a bit over the duration of a tournament, the other you have to grind a lot in a short amount of time. Not exactly the same effort, and of course dependent on the time available to you personally, but to my personal experience you're always going to have to grind quite a bit if you want to get into the top 10, and even then you are looking at how much other people want a certain character (for 4*'s you can expect the grind to be really intense).

    I can't say how much effort is required to get top 10 when you sign up for a time slot before starting time as I have never done that, so maybe someone who tried that can say what that's like.

    Thanks for the update! I thought there would be more activity for a new hero, especially one as powerful as Iron Fist appears to be.

    Any chance you could give another update in a hour or so? Slice 5 is the last hope of a new bracket before the event ends, so getting some info about the fill rate would be fantastic.

    So I got in around 150-200 or so, LilC24, Canopius, Mr Stoat, Preciso, qiwi are top 5. This the vet or standard bracket?

    If you have Mr. Stoat in your bracket, definitely a vet bracket. He's a beast.
