Yup, they change it up mid event. One sub is a nice way to recharge mid event, or so they tell me icon_e_wink.gif.

Goes back to two after this for the remainder.

Ah well, Russia is the "easy" one too, was kinda hoping we could coast to the end via Ez Mode single subs! icon_razz.gif

Anybody else in first slice and only see 1 sub (Russia) available? Just want to make sure, seems to be the case based on Alliance mates and looking at the bracket points.

That's what you should see, and matches previous runs of this event. It will go back to two next set of subs.
  • Wow I jumped alot. Of all the holidays, do MPQers really take Valentine's day off? I wouldn't have guessed it.

But bad news is Ares/Jugg are waiting for me at nearly every node. Health packs gonna be gone.

PS: Since Thor is powered up, you can do the Green-generation-trick and get Storm 30 Green pretty easily. Not as smoothly as Hulk, but still.
  • The general lack of Daken makes this event considerably easier for sustained grinding than normal. Not that Juggernaut/Ares is necessarily easier, but there's literally no way to avoid attrition when fighting Daken.
  • Is Russian a 12 hour sub still? Or is it longer?

I am trying to figure out when the next slice 4 sub starts. Thanks!

underleveling gives an advantage of MagStorm, that's good enough for me
I still use cStorm/MMN a fair deal in PvE, not even when they are buffed. But 3*s and 4*s have a similar combo in winfinite, and many other nice combos that are just as effective.

    Yes, Russia is 12 hours.

So the past few days, each refresh there have been 2 sub-events at any given time. Am I missing something, or does this one only have one? And it is a lot easier than the last sub? I fought a 120 ares/Rag/Moonstone combo, and then the last mission dropped to a 68-69 Moonstone/Jug/Yelena combo for some reason.

I'm happy if it is just this one sub-event, since it gives my health and packs time to recharge, and maybe even do some pvp, but I thought it was odd that it broke the pattern.

Please refer to the dedicated thread to ISO Brotherhood located here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=23687

    And from Mags1587's awesome guide:

    Length of Event: 4.5 days
Sub-Events? Yes; Alliance Rewards in Sub-Events? Yes
    Number of Sub-Events: 17 total: 4 (x2), 1, 4 (x2)
    Length of Sub-Events: 12 hours
Main Nodes after Sub-Events End? No
    Other Notes:
There are Main nodes to open up the sub-events. These nodes are one time only nodes.
All sub-events are 12 hours long. There are 4 rounds of 12 hour sub-events with 2 subs running side-by-side; then one 12 hour sub-event; then 4 more rounds of 12 hour sub-events (2 running side-by-side).
There are no global progress bars in the sub-events; the one-time node with the high ISO reward is unlocked as the other non-essential nodes are completed.

Why does AI get 4 green AP every turn even though it matches/captures no green? I tried to figure it out on my own but apparently, I aint smaht nuff.
  • I don't have Russia I visible right now, but I can guess. There is an ISO 8 Mutant in the level generating the Green AP. Goons produce AP every turn.

I'm sure you"re correct. And no, I do not want that information popping up across the screen every turn.

Goons generate the AP for their powers. If you see one generating AP for a colour it doesn't have a power for, it might be a bug.

But in this case it's most likely the Subjects generating green for their Unstable Blasts.

Seconded. Its pretty easy to Patch/Daken your way through these, which is nice.

Merged "Russia I" topic from General forum here. Please keep discussions about event to the appropriate thread in the Events forum.

If my memory serves, back before the starting time selection was a thing and this event ran with 24 hour subs, this sub ran by itself for 36 hours before going back to two 24 hour subs for the duration. The idea I guess was to flip the sub end times by 12 hours about half way through to make it more fair for people who live in different time zones and have different schedules. Now that they let you pick your time slice that level of artificial balance isn't necessary anymore, so now it's just another sub that runs by itself.

Sounds like you're not seeing nodes where one headbutt will take out either one of them...
