I used Steve Rodgers, Daken, Loki.

Not sure why I chose Loki, still won, (166,166,98 respectively) but was tougher then it could have been.

Rodgers, Daken, Falcon is my normal go to team for the survival waves.

Only the node against the three people at Lv. 66 requires the essential character.

The survival mission you unlock after is open to your whole roster with no requirements.

Also, should I feel bad I couldn't even get past the Konran on wave 3 using OBW/Thor?

OBW/MnMags/CStorm I've beaten final node 4 times with this roster. I have substituted Modern Thor for Mags once and won that too.

Having someone with a power that can damage all 3 enemy characters is key.

dont buy tokens. the drop rates are horrendous. spend hp on roster slots and to buy the occasional cover that really helps a character. if you cant play a certain days daily because you dont have the essential, play the three nodes you can and wait for tomorrow. your patience will be rewarded in time. i know its hard, but youd really likely be blowing that hp on a 2 star.

Can I second and third that statement? Though some have been luckier, I've gotten ABSOLUTELY nothing from the DP Taco Tokens. In fact, here's a mathematical formula to put a valuation on what I've pulled:

[(DP Daily Days * 2 Taco Tokens per Day) - (2 Taco Tokens for the BP and Luke Cage days since they aren't on my roster)] * 250 ISO = what I've gotten, since it's only been 2-star characters...lol...

Has anyone else had an issue where you beat the last node in Deadpool's Daily Quest but still come up short of the 2000 ISO progression reward? (Several people on my leaderboard, me included, are stuck at 14851?)

-Yes. It is/was complete. It was the third match I completed after 3-star pre-match and the 3-star cover match.

-BUT you may be on to something because all the other nodes no longer list the "Full Points" in the top left corner of the node-intro page, but the 1-Star mission still lists "Full Points 149" in the top left corner, but the mission is listed as "completed."

update: Thanks for the encouragement the other day and the suggestions. I always thought thor and ares were basically the same and I liked thor better and he was easier to use (no caveats/extra stuff going on - save ap, cause damage - simple). I got ares to 94 and if you manage him properly he is superior to thor, I admit. I have successfully completed the big enchilada 4 of 5 attempts. My main team is ares, obw, and daken (used this 2 of the 5 days). Steal, Steal, Steal and manage health/CD with obw. Finish waves 1 and 3 with match 5 or with ability. Daken blue and ares green are good for cheap finishes. If you can enter wave 4 with 30 red and 10/20 yellow (enough to get ares health down to use red), it has gone pretty well - have been able to do that 2x. Get his health down and go red 3X. Mop up with blue/green.

Today I had a bad board - no useful matches to be had and couldn't get the board to reset (always one black or team up available), so I barely got through wave 1 and 2 got my main team. I could have health packed them but saw someone used stormneto and thor and thought I would give it a shot. I did it, but just barely (thor and mags were downed and storm had ~1000 health left). These are not easy and you have to play almost flawlessly. I did make a mistake - I had a Fury escape plan strike out there and got an unexpected cascade to finish wave 3, which was nearly fatal. X Force and Gorgon each one-shotted mags and thor - luckily the order I had them in left storm and I was able to get 2 wind storms off which downed xf and dp and left gorgon stunned for 4 and was able to finish.

I must say between scratching and clawing during the gauntlet and figuring stuff out for this node, I have learned a great deal about the intricacies of game play. It is actually a lot of work for me to get the job done, bordering on taking the fun out. Was fun today because I'm between pvps and don't need to grind on the pve to get what I want - I looked forward to the challenge. I do greatly appreciate the *** covers - I've gotten more in the last week than probably the last month combined (maybe not - gauntlet and brotherhood were good to me too), but cover-wise, these dailies are awesome. If it gets to be too much of a grind, nobody is making us do it. Looking forward to DP and DD covers - I like DP and DD is my best covered *** so far. Although I know I'm a loooooong way from being able to play them. I have MagStorm up to ~90 now and once I finish them and hawk, I may have enough covers in one or 2 *** to work them up to the 90s.

Ares is better than 2* Thor. 30 Green kills anything. Entered final wave, nuked Deadpool first (Cage), then X-Force (Cage + Ares red), then Gorgon (Ares + 3x OBW AP steal). Human Torch is a perfect substitute for Luke Cage.

Human Torch, Ares, OBW is all you need in a 2* star roster, because you shouldn't get hit more than once or twice, if at all.

Edit: Also, the Konran's are pretty good at killing their own team. Always check to which Konran the Black Arts CD-tile belongs to and let it resolve if you're not about to kill him. Focus on their red CD-tile, because that one pretty much instakills any character of mine if it resolves.

Wow. This final node is tough as both teams I've thrown at it don't get far at all.
Stormento + mHawkeye wiped with the goons while I was trying to build up AP.
Ares/Daken/OBW were destroyed by Cage/LCap/Punisher with Ares getting one-shot with SSA after taking some damage due to all the attack tiles being left.
Going back to PvE to hit the refreshed nodes but it's looking like this challenge may not get completed.

After my LCap/Hulk/Patch team had its **** repeatedly kicked by the main Survival node, I decided to swap out Hulk and Patch for MN Mags and CStorm. I was able to collect 30 AP of every colour and destroy every wave pretty much effortlessly. Don't be put off by the Lv130 Gorgon/X-Force/Deadpool, as long as you can stun Deadpool to stop him intercepting attacks you can wear them down.

Yeah...todays survival node was brutal. I'm a transition player with a full roster of most heroes between 75-93. Crashed and burned with multiple attempts of Stormneto(Hood/MHawkeye/Falcon/Deadpool alternating as third). Magstique, OBW-Falcon-LThor, OBW-Falcon-LCap, Hulk-Patch-LDaken, LDaken-Cage-LThor, Ares-Widow-Panther. FINALLY managed to get it with Blade-OBW-LThor.

I would swear the game intentionally tried to starve me for blue/purple on wave 1. At least on my last run it gave me black to get out Blade's steal. That was a big game changer in slowing down the absurd amount of countdowns and making sure that Cap could not deck me with a shield throw the moment wave 2 began. Once I was down to the last enemy I was able to mess around a bit more with collecting AP to charge up Thor for wave 2.
Just baaaaarely survived that second wave with both OBW and Thor only having a couple hundred health left with Blade being fairly unharmed. Wave 3 was a breath of fresh air allowing me to stockpile AP again for the final wave (Blades steal fed me a **** ton of Red AP on this wave). I then nearly lost Thor when X-Force used his X-Force move at the end of the third wave (Just as I killed the third goon enemy XWolvie used X-Force and did so before Wave 4 enemies even appeared on the sceen as a result he was able to use the move without actually using his Black AP! Not cool. At least I got first move on that actual wave so was able to use a couple OBW steals to prevent him from using a second X-Force or else Gorgon using his black move which was probably going to happen otherwise.)

You're telling me. I'm glad we have deadpool dailies but these are more like Deadpool's bottom of the barrel covers.

The odds are terrible. One of the only tokens without chance for a 4*. I could see gamblers trying to get the HP rewards from these tokens.
