    This update feels like the bad old days of Daken's long-**** green matching passive.
    Yeesh.

    It's not the kind of information that needs to be displayed every turn. It's reference material at best. It's like if a banner scrolled across every turn telling me which moves I can use currently. It's meaningless when I can look it up *very* easilly.

    I can't believe this got playtested and *no-one* said, "Yeah, this adds a 4 second delay between rounds. It's annoying. Stop it."
    Not to mention it tries to load ther banner in non-minion games as well, adding a 2 second delay to that, too.

  • I'm sure it's been said, but pausing the game every round to tell us that goons are generating AP...one of the most annoying game updates since release. Remember about a year ago when people were complaining that Daken's Pheremone Rage and Wolverine's Healing Factor paused the game for too long and were annoying as hell? I believe you guys listened to us and sped it up. So now you've added something just as obnoxious. I'm puzzled as to why. We all know goons generate AP. Do we really need to know every single turn, "Omg he's generated two blues!" No. We don't. Especially if we're trying to get in some final matches before a PVE round ends. Yay, way to slow us down and frustrate us more. It's like the devs are little kids who don't learn from the past and so just keep repeating the same mistakes over and over. We didn't like it then. We're probably not gonna like it now! It's not like something miraculous has happened in the intervening months to make us suddenly more patient and eager to watch inane graphics every other round for no reason.

    I've heard the game doesn't pause for Jamie Madrox. And the goons give him AP.

    Banner for goons needs work. It's like:

  • This AP banner idea is HORRIBLE. It's slowing down a game like hell. After 3 games with mook opponents I started to hate such battle with passion thanks to that spammer banner. I want to play faster, not slower.

    In the time of my start I learned how much AP mooks generate very fast. Once you learn that, this banner is nothing but annoyance.

    If you really need to show how many AP goons ganerate each turn, show it once at the beginning of the match. But much better decicion should be just get rid of this banner for good.
  • The AP banner should come up at the beginning of the match and then disappear forever.

    I think the average player has the brain capacity to look at the banner once and remember what they're dealing with.

    Maybe show the new banner each time a goon is downed to show the new values per turn, but then disappear again.
  • Here's the thing I don't understand... the display (on android at least, no idea for other platforms) already showed the AP gained each turn. I guess it wasn't split out by goon, but you could usually tell by which powers each one had?

    Anyway, the new overlay is terrible. It covers the board, breaking my concentration. It takes for ever to go away, it happens every turn, and it replaces the existing display, so I no longer see all of the AP generated by the AI in a single place (in matches with a mix of goons and non-goons).

    Please, please fix this quickly. PvE is basically unplayable now.
  • I wasn't forced to perform this upgrade until this morning thankfully. After reading all the hubbub on the forums, I thought it was going to be a disaster. Perhaps there's also a Phone Model problem as I'm playing on a iPhone 6+ and while it's annoying yes, but I wouldn't go so far as saying it is unplayable. It may be adding 10-15 seconds TOTAL per game, which again is annoying, but I was imagining I'd be waiting 5-10 seconds between my individual moves given how the forums blew up and were describing their problem.

    Having said that, I agree, the option to disable this should be expedited and preferably before the scheduled v71 release. Though, it makes me wonder if the performance impact is more negative/pronounced on some (older) phone models than others? Devs did say this was a Work In Progress in the Release Notes and would be monitoring player feedback, it's safe to say they got a lot of feedback on what to do next, lol.
  • Please get rid of the added screen for the npc's, I think it takes up too much time. And when are we going to get black widow grey suit rotated back in? Any anseers would be great

    Go fight some goons with Daken, Patch and Doom. You can go make a cup of coffee between each round. icon_lol.gificon_cry.gif
