Upcoming Changes to Versus Rewards

Good change, I was trying to figure out in a post the other day where to put these rewards - this looks just about right. Thanks!0

I'm not so sure. Most of the brackets I've been in only had 5-6 people tops at 1K or more, there was a big pile up at the high 800's to low 900's. Now being so close perhaps more people will push for it, but in the end it means spending more on shields.
Exactly. While it's nice to see the analysis, the analysis provided doesn't address one major issue. What's the relative roster strength needed to reach 1k progression? It seems that, without an established 4* roster, the 1000 pt progression is quite beyond reach. Same thing with the 500 pt progression problem already mentioned in this thread. What's the point of having a 4* reward if the only players who can get there already have established 4* rosters?
That said, it is great to see that they were actually addressing the issue.0 -

Very nice! Thanks alot for taking care of us devs!0

I definitely like this change as well and it's going to have some additional beneficial impacts I would think. I would guess that Min for top 10 in PVP will probably be 1,000 now which means more and more folks with lots of points to work with and it probably means shielding will require even a bit more thought/planning than it does now. I usually just climb to 800-900 and stop since it's all 270's at that point usually, but this probably means that final wall will include a good amount of max 166 teams as well I would imagine.0

These definitely look like more reachable carrots. I think scoring goes up as a result, with more people making the extra push that otherwise was futile. Nobody's going to spend more on shields to go from 900 to 1000, for an extra 1000 iso, but for a 4*?
This is a welcome sight. Now hopefully Juno doesn't wipe out my power for 4 days.0 -
I think this is really going to benefit the game. One thing, though - the 2* at 500 - I don't know if this is something you're set up to track, but do you have numbers for how many people who get this use it? It seems like very few people are likely to be capable of hitting 500 points and still need 2* covers.0

And there were 2 or 3 times I could have, but the 1000 ISO wasn't worth the 75 hp for my final shield.
And this was all with a max budget of 300 hp per PVP.
I think 1000 will be very attainable.0 -

I am glad to see the much needed changes happen.
But this really only helps people that were already getting the 4* reward or those that were close. So it helps the 3*-4* transition. But for the 2*-3* transition it still does nothing. I know, as a 2*-3* transistioner, there is no way I'll be hitting 900 points.
I'm glad changes have happened but they really only help the higher level players.0 -

Thank you devs for making this change. Finally we forum people are seeing that you actually listen to what we need. First you changed pve reset times, then added one double iso pvp (hopefully it wont be an isolated incident) and now you actually changed progression reward structure. Now that easier 4* transition you talked about earlier on doesnt seem too far off. Unfortunately 3* transition will still is the issue that needs to be addressed, but you are finally taking steps in right directions, so i hope that will be changed too in near future.0

Fantastic change! The 1000 point 4* cover reward is perfect, it's difficult, but, possible. And a nice, round number to boot.0

Not to mention with it difficult but reachable it will ease the transition from 3* to 4*.0

Of course, that's the number of people who finished at 1K or more. Not the number of people who topped out there and then got knocked back down by incoming attacks.0 -

Same here, I've been playing most of this season with just 1 shield per event w/ average score in the low to mid 900s because I didn't feel like burning the extra HP. 1k for a 4* changes everything0 -
This change is a joke.
Oh yes, this is a great improvement for hardcore players and solid rosters. Most of the people who read this forum will be pleased : it will be easier and faster for them.
But what about 2-3* transitioners? What about the majority of players who won't go above 600-700pts? These players need 3 stars and there is no improvement for them.
The 2 stars cover at 500 pts is useless : the event token at 300 pts is a better reward (at least you have a chance to win a 3 stars)! What about a 3 stars at 600 pts and a 3 stars token at 900 pts?
I understand the "keep 4 stars out of reach of casual players" but 3 stars? Seriously?0 -
I hate being the last post on a page0

I'm not a 2-3 stars transitioner. I have some good maxed 3 stars. But it's obvious 2-3* transitioners and casual players need help. So obvious...0
