4* pulled out of tokens have pulsating gold middle. Unless you spammed open it - how dare you! You are ought to bask in glory of the golden token praying exotic chants before gently rubbing them, it would save you from this abomination.

In the first run, I pulled two rares back-to-back from Standard token node rewards. Still no Goddess Thor, though.

I've been having abyssmal luck with tokens gotten from PVE. I've been tracking them for a few months, about three weeks ago I decided to split off my PVE and PVP tokens (before they were just "special" tokens.) I've gotten one gold token since. Out of 34.

I shouldn't complain, my PVP tokens have been fairly lucky (8 out of 24,) but it's still weird.

Maybe he does, and we just don't know it. After all mine is sitting strong at level 40, and doesn't see the front unless, the other two are dead, and that doesn't happen as I am only forced to use him in an easy node. I was randomly thinking, maybe D3 was trying to push this PVE with new characters just to see how crazy their player base really is, and force the rest of the hard core players to get some sleep. Gamora doesn't look that great anyways, so why not distribute covers to the poor for Christmas? I'm locked out of Thor essentials, yet more of my bracket seems to not be trying that hard. Despite not playing at all during work, I'm still in top 100. Or maybe due to Thanksgiving, most of the usual people in my brackets don't have Thor so just stopped trying to place top 25.

Nope, you're completely right - Gamora is NOT devil dino/xforce/LadyThor/Deadpool, so everyone should ignore her PVPs and PVEs where she's offered so I don't need 700 pts for a cover of her

Because of bad end time, only got 19k points. Wonder if 50k is within reach considering I don't have 4* Thor and last time the harder normal nodes of the final sub made mincemeat of my guys.

Blade is at 40K. I expect to start the final sub with about 14 hours to go and anticipate at least 25K from that sub, so still in reach for you.

Thor is the highest lvl, has the most health TANKS NOTHING!
Thor only has 2 covers so she is worthless for actives and I cant even get her our front to eat damage

That's because as you go up in s, match damage per level decreases.

If you're having trouble with that node, maybe try the old Classic Storm + MN Magneto combo? Thor should at least tank yellow then, I'd think.

I tried that combo earlier and failed. the combo that ultimately worked for me was:
Blade (boosted to 98)
Thor (boosted to 146)

Anyway, for those saying the “rich get richer” I am at least an example of someone who has never spent a RL Dollar on the game that keeps getting in the top ten on these recent PvE’s(Only due to a glitch between my Google Play account and my phone. Though honestly I don’t really want to fix it because it keeps me from buying anything). I picked up Thora in the last one and three covers for Rocket and Groot before. Tearing my hair out though because my gallery of heroes hasn’t been fully healed for a long, long time.

I do feel like having Thora “Essential” for this event represents the hard work I put in at least. I would like to sleep again though, be nice to have a PvE where I’m not scrambling for a brand new toon.

Yeah thor tanks yellow in the thor/mnMags/cStorm combo. Works good for any mission (with blade replacing thor on 1st essential

Never really paid attention to that. I was wondering why my 2* Cap was tanking for the TU tiles despite Thorina being level boosted much higher.
I've been stuck on The Heart of Castle Doom since the start as I can never take Doom down quick enough before he starts launching Summon Demons.
What annoys me to no end is that I cannot even take the Doombot or Iso-Mutant down before those stupid attack tiles start filling the screen guaranteeing a loss.
