Really depends. Do you have a ton of 166s? If so your personal scaling will make them useless.

I have 1 maxed 3* (Patch). I have a bunch of 2*s maxed out and about 100k ISO I was saving to dump into another 3* once I get the covers to warrant it being spent. Debating leveling up Daken or Thor to 94. Daken would probably be the most useful of those I don't have at 94. Of course the 3*s that are buffed are pretty low for me. (Can't ever get any Hulk covers.)

Since this isn't a heroic, you can use whomever you want - those characters will get a level boost. If it will be useful for you to level them (you can spare the Iso and they will help you a lot,) do it - just wait until after you enter the event since my impression is that scaling is based on your Roster when you enter.

Who thought it was a good idea to boost Hood. He is best sitting behind everyone and stealing AP. Now he is a tank.

It's a secret plot to make people think The Hood isn't that good. He's literally the worst person to get major boosted since tanking 5 or 6 colors is a very reliable way to minimize his usefulness given his utter lack of HPs, even with an extra 90 levels.

I just signed up and got the extremely low scaled opponents as well. So, is it community scaling within your bracket then? And they reset the scaling for every new bracket that starts?

That was definitely record time for me clearing a round!

No, community scaling is across the entire game. If you see unreasonably low levels, it's far more likely that the game loaded the wrong values for the initial level so take advantage of it while it's low before it's fixed.

I saw this anomaly when the event first opened, "Hard" essentials (15) were lower level than "Easy" essentials(30). However when i actually got to playing them an hour later they were fixed.

Keep in mind the essential characters rotate and it sounds like Mystique is the first featured character? If so that's a good thing because it's best to have the hard to get character out of the way on the round that's worth the least amount of points. It'd be really bad if Mystique is the essential character for the third round because that's where the points are biggest and have a huge impact to your overall placement and whether you'll hit the progression reward.

True, but she will likely be a PvP reward before the event ends, but after her turn at essential, so having her go first keeps players from earning her in PvP prior to needing her.

For which node? The iso 8 jackpot node is level 253 for me on hard.

They somehow managed to make The Hood suck, since the extra 30 levels ensure that he will get TUs, any off color where another character isn't strong, and all of his strong colors besides black (and only Punisher, Daken, Blade, or X Force can have a hgiher black), so he gets totally beat up by everything before he can work his magic.

Also actually experienced this from the past Simulator events. Good thing I practiced playing the Hard mode first before I jump to the Easy mode. Works well, specially if I have the 3 featured characters. Points overload!!!

Wiped in the normal node 7.
Blade, BP & Spidey quickly killed off my team of 2* Thor, Mystique & Obw.
All those strike tiles & protect tiles made denial a moot strategy once a few cascades kicked in.
So effing mad now.

Yeah took me a couple of go to beat it, first attempt I got wiped out by Spidey's protect tiles.

Second go, I used **Thor, CStorm, and Hulk, and won pretty convincingly

Events looks fine so far in all directions. The only issues seems to be the no alliance rewards in subs. Personally, I still have not joined subs as I don't have Mystique and I can't compete. I'll try for an easier bracket towards the end of each sub.

One question. Usually we get different essential character for each sub here right? So that means that after the first sub ends, Mystique will no longer be essential in the rest of the subs?

What are the scores looking like for you guys for the top dogs in your bracket? Usually I can keep up with the leader pretty well but I'm getting my **** kicked in this PvE, might be due to joining early I guess but I've done so before and not had this problem.

The leader in my bracket is at 30k+ right now, seems like a huge score when looking at how much the subs give out in points (500-700 today at max for the highest giving essensials, around 300-400 yesterday).

It would be easier in the sense that you would have less days to grind, but most likely you will still have to hit the nodes every refresh to keep up for the remaining time or hit them multiple times before you go to bed to maintain your points.
