Sweet, if I can get top 10 (or top 20 with alliance rewards) I'll have a fourth cover-maxed 3*. And after so many events with schizophrenic boosted rosters, this one has some nice synergy going - board shakers, Modern Hawkeye, and Hood go very well together.

Hmm, it was probably a mistake to join this early. I sat the Heroic Juggernaut out as I didn't have BP, and by joining early I'm probably in a main bracket with a load of hardcore players who all have Mystique. Oh well, live and learn.

I already have a single cover for Falcon anyway, so if I can't get anything out of the ranking rewards I won't be hurting too much next event. I'll just take the ISO and progression rewards.

so this is strange...havnt played the subs yet but after i opened them i checked levels of the opponents in the first node and i was surprised to see lvl 7s in the easy sub and lvl30s in the hard. i just checked the first nodes again and they've jumped to lvl30s for easy and lvl 130s for hard. eh..has this ever happened to anyone else where the lvls of the opponents jumped that much after just an hour? and without having played yet?

You just witnessed community scaling. It accelerates pretty fast in the beginning.

In the past there are events where they loaded up the wrong initial level values for scaling and later fixed it. I don't think it's community scaling because 7/30 seems like way too low as a starting point unless your entire roster is 1*.

hm i guess thats what happened then. i have a roster with a few maxed 3*s. dang it should've made the most of it while those nodes were so easy..

Seriously, that was half the reason I was happy to see the Simulator -- we haven't had an event with alliance tokens since Deadpool vs. MPQ, in the anniversary week.

40K on the first sub should very comfortably hit the 160K progression mark. It may take way less than that to hit it depending on how much the point value increases for the newer subs, but 40K should definitely be enough.

Keep in mind the essential characters rotate and it sounds like Mystique is the first featured character? If so that's a good thing because it's best to have the hard to get character out of the way on the round that's worth the least amount of points. It'd be really bad if Mystique is the essential character for the third round because that's where the points are biggest and have a huge impact to your overall placement and whether you'll hit the progression reward.

At least that's how we are assuming it'll work? I know they changed it for The Hunt to just require Ms Marvel on every essential node last time.

Who thought it was a good idea to boost Hood. He is best sitting behind everyone and stealing AP. Now he is a tank.

Really depends. Do you have a ton of 166s? If so your personal scaling will make them useless.
