most of them are one and done.

Wow. A single clear of Alaska was more tedious than any other experience I've had playing this game outside of maybe an entire Venom/Juggernaut heroic. Congrats, D3? That's like an achievement.

Wait till you clear Florida lol.
  • I'm pretty sure at one point the nodes on Florida were repeatable.

That assumes I won't run out of characters first.

Without MM that's 2500 points per clear unavailable in matches vastly easier than the non-MM nodes. Unless something amazing happens with RB, or I accidentally "suffer an illness" and become housebound for 4 days so I can play every 2.4 hours, 70k is looking a long way away.

You have a 15% chance at 10K to pull a Ms Marvel which will dig you out of that hole. I doubt you get another chance at 50K. The other options is to throw the dices and by the Hunt Daily deal. If you can place top 50 in all the subs - something I cannot see happening with Ms Marvel you would get most of the 200 HP back assuming you feel lucky.

Well, the point of this, if there is a point, is to show how unfair this set up is to those in the transition without diverse rosters who don't throw HP at the game. The essential character chain of doom and despair and "damn that's yet another new character I can't get, even if I had room in my roster".

This morning (for it is nearly 8am on Sunday 26th here), the nodes look like this:

    Alaska

    Clever Girl, 202, 48/49/49 (easy)
Clever Girl II, 504, 94/95/95 (normal)
Clever Girl III, 565, 97/98/97 (normal)
    The Hunter, 262, 67/67/67 (easy)
Outta My House, 323, 65/66/66 (easy)
    Let's Dance, 686, 116/117/117 (normal)
    2542 points, average level 82

The New Guy 686, 58/59/58 (easy)
Clean Up Crew, 746, 53/54/53 (easy)
Last of 'em, 686, 55/55/55 (easy)
    2118 points, average level 56

    Florida

Divide and Conquer, 246, 64/65/64 (easy)
    Ares, 616, 107/107/107 (normal)
Not Very Subtle, 154, 53/54/53 (easy)
    I'm in Your Base, 385, 86/86/86 (normal)
Knocking at the Door, 477, 91/91/91 (normal)
    1878 points, average level 80

    Stragglers, 616, 75/75/75 (normal)
    More Stragglers, 662, 72/73/73 (normal)
Eyes on the Prize, 523, 61/62/62 (easy)
    1801 points, average level 70

Again, the essential nodes are easier and more rewarding (per node) than the normal nodes.

Overnight Wolveroach on 6940 slipped down to 137, the leader (the sometimes absent Accident-eLe) is on 32904.

Im getting tired of the AI pulling off miracle cascades that charge every move they have at their disposal before I take my second turn

Me too I just had a like 5 matches in a row where my within the first two turns one or two of my characters was dead from something like that. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

I bet it was not as good as the one I pulled off. I killed the whole of "The New Guy" without The AI making a single move. Got enough purple for MNMags to generate 23 blues which Storm used to murder the rest of the team.

If anyone has joined recently, can you give a bracket count? Thanks.

Flapdoodles. 10k progression Hunt token gives Nick Fury yellow. A guy just can't catch a break.

Just harden up already. Buy some tokens. Buy some HP to buy more tokens when you don't get MM. Don't be such a victim.

I tried the 2* mn mags/cstorm/mhawk team 3 times, and died before I could get even the 2nd windstorm off all 3 times, primarily from match damage. Kept getting stuck at like 7 purple or 9 blue, with the board just refusing to let me get any more useful matches

Moon Roach, I'm afraid you may be experiencing some deep psychological trauma. Does anyone ever call you "Mr. Durden" when you go to a new city?

Wolveroach voted you up. Moon Roach was going to vote you down but couldn't as a vote had already been made. This comments system is obviously broken and not designed with the more advanced role-player in mind. Ooh, "in mind", I like that. I must remember that one.

Today is a good day for very very VERY bad cascades and boards.

The AI seriously wants me dead, dead, oh yes, and MORE dead.

I need to start retreating on bad boards instead of trying to play them through.
  • I hope after the address the time zone issue, they'll address node refresh times. I have no problem with the people who put the most effort and time in winning, but it'd be nice if the required 2.5 intervals would not make people set up their whole life around the game.

And no, I don't think the gauntlet is the answer. I just think a sight tweak after the time zone issue here resolved would be fine. Even if it was just once every 12 or 8 hours, I could live a pretty full life like that.

Anyone else just Sentry-bombing most nodes? It's just not worth it to try different combos that MIGHT work on a lot of these.

    My "Ares" is lvl176.

I forgot how much I hated this event. They should have just sliced it in half time-wise. That way we only have to slog through each sub once.
