Out of curiosity, who is your fave char?

I like my Lcap; he has been my pillar for pve when I was in transition, but when I'm in pvp 3* land, he has been fairly useless...

So I was quite happy when I could dust off my lcap for this pvp, acting as the perfect hulk buster.

Well at least for this pvp it's 6 people. In most other pvp, it has only been sentry, sentry and sentry. This pvp has been way more fun for me.

it depends on what I need:

Top25 — any
Top10 — 1
Top5 — 2
1300 reward — maximum 4

I end S5 with 14718 points: 11th in overal bracket, 1st in my alliance

And if I wanted, I may collect points and for top5

For you — maybe. For me — already not. If my favorite characters buffed or I may create competitive combo from them — I don't see any reasons, why I must don't use them.

Maybe I missed this question being asked earlier but, why does the buff to level 94 2*s only take them to 187 when everyone else's buff seems to be a strict 2x?

Because technically they are only level 93.5.

I'm gonna go with because their "true" level is actually 93.5 but decimals freak ppl out so they rounded it up?

My favourite Marvel characters that are in MPQ are Magneto, Spider-Man, Storm, Human Torch, Loki and the Hood (that last one happened entirely thanks to MPQ).
My favourite characters in the mechanics sense are oBW, classic Magneto, especially the old one, but hey, the new one is also decent, the Hood (I love playing any 2 of these 3 together and now Magneto/oBW don't even overlap as much, and his blue is a nice offensive alternative), characters that can place/overwrite tiles such as classic Hawkeye, Magneto MN, for example, but obviously those aren't very competitive in PvP.

I like LC on offense, but since I can already field 2 big AoE nukes in 2 different colours and can use Marvel's cheaper stun... Not much reason to run LC unless he's subbing for someone.

Running LT, Hulk, and Fury. Fury my most underlevelled but needed active / so pumped some ISO into him. If it was the dev's secret plan with this event to get us to spend our hoards on the rest of our roster , they just may have succeeded.

Oh, and I finally got the experience the wrath of a one-two Demolition/Escape Plan taking out my Hulk for over 18,000 HP in one turn. Still won the fight, but it was def crazy to watch and will definitely be hunting for more Fury covers ASAP. Not sure if the 1,300 this event is attainable with slower battle times/shield hopping exposure, but I'll be going for XF (1st) so may end up hitting 1,300 in that quest anyways.

My Fury/XForce/Thor team got killed by Spidey/Hulk . I made the mistake of not killing Spidey when I got him down to 500 health. Suddenly, he and Hulk had a lot of health again.

LCap is my favorite guy. 7000 point shield toss. I haven't lost yet with Cap. My other teams have been less successful.

What is the point threshold where your mmr no longer matters? I'm at 841 and can only find targets in the low 20s

I've been running maxed (BP got that final 27k ISO for this event), and it's been slow, but a blast. Falcon doesn't do a ton, but eating a spidey protect tile, or sometimes spitting out his own, or boosting a BP protect/strike is nice. Rainbow coverage for match damage, AOE nukes, 2 heavy damage skills in , and marginal skills which can at least allow the bigger skills time to gather AP if you've gotten a bad board.

Didn't go very high yet but I've only been hit twice, both for wins. Since I just need , this is a joy.

Can't envision we'll see a ton of teams since a 20k is a lot of meat to eat.

Ive been using 280Lthor/260hulk/187mhawk. Only max lvl I have so far is rags.

Between 5cover anger and 3cover (need more yellow Lthor rewards mpq) I usually get at least one speedshot per match if not multiples and a 5cover cots ends it. Have had several defensive wins so far.
