You're in first out of only 200 people, but not in first out of 10000 people. It makes perfect sense.0 -

They could be in different Canada or Nevada brackets than you.0 -
If anyone is curious how I have one more point overall than everyone else...

1. You need to play finish the game everyday, if not there's no way you can catch up. (If you missed the 1st few day just so that you want to power up your level in last day. It's not possible)
2. Once you attack more than a certain times (3x ? Have to reconfirmed again), the point system is gone - no matter how high or low the points you get.
3. there's a reset in certain time / hours, so that those who missed the chances...well they miss to level their rank. While the rest who manage to get the points, they will have slight advantages when the game is ending soon.
Point one would make no sense imo, I'm pretty sure you can wait until the last day to do any mission and still finish first. Just like in The Hunt. There's rubber banding going one, that's why the numbers are all strange.
Yes, you can do any mission and still finish first, but not to the overall ranking? Maybe to the individual mission.
I guess they are trying to figure out a way that those who play longer will have slight advantages, compare to those who play only last few days to have higher point allocation??
At least they should give some benefits to those who work their **** non-stop to hit that amount of points?
Will have to see in next few days to see the overall results on this..0 -
My guess is that the sub-missions are point locked, no rubber banding. However the main The Hulk event has some rubber banding in effect. In the subs you can't get more then 116 and 230 but the main event can have variable points.
EDIT: for reference my main event are worth 33, 40, and 27 points for a total of 100. Anyone have anything different?0 -

so am i.
Word.
I joined Fulu in the 504 club.
I started later, but no clue how I got one more point than others. I just played through all the stuff until it zeroed out.
Yeah, I didn't start until I finished work at 8 EST. Did everything I could and that was that.0 -
That what I've been saying, you guys have more points there's rubber banding. The fact that you started later strongly suggest that.0
-
My hypothesis (and this is wishful thinking, as its the best solution) is that rubber banding kicks in once the sub-events reset. No rubberbanding in the middle of sub-events.0
-
It's looking like the last people who complete these will be in 1st place.
When I finished Nevada I was #1 with 116. First person is still 166 but I am dropping as they finish up. On the Canada one I have exactly 1 mission unfinished that still gives points and am not sure if I should just try to do it at the very last minute.0 -
So has anyones missions reset yet?0

Nothing currently would indicate rubberbanding being in effect. At the moment there is a point cap on the sub missions. The hand full of ppl withone pr two points more than everyone else...I have no idea, but I don't think it was on purpose. Might have been a wired decimal place accidentally on one or two of the missions, and so of you completed the missions in a certain order maybe it rounded up to an extra point? I don't know...
That said, unless something drastically changes it might be that there is rubberbanding, but that the "rubberbanding values" are only created after the first day/segment of the event. So maybe while ppl having done everything are a little over 500 pts, ppl starting tomorrow will be able to rubberbanding based on that?
Another possibility is that the first few days are point locked, and that changes on a random day to being an open repeatable (an attempt to let ppl both play, and not get left in thebdust because they didn't play day one).
All I know is 500 pts a day * 9 days != 50,000 pts for punisher lol.0 -

No...I have 3 guesses.
1. No resets, but on a certain day repeatables are opened like a floodgate.
2. Resets every 8 hours, so 3 different portions to each sub event. (Meaning reset would be at the end of this hour)
3. 12 hr reset0 -
I'm guessing there's rubberbanding, but it's very small. Won't notice it till people start getting upwards of 3k.0

Strange..I was with Fulu n cpgecko but only struck @ 503pt.
I am not sure whether did i start early or not but I just got 503 instead of 504.
Not sure what's the main issue but don't think it's who start last will have higher chance to get higher point.0 -

I suspect this may be the case.
The extra point is a fraction of a percent right now.
A rubberbanding different wouldn't show up in earnest until the numbers are much bigger.
If we're headed to 50k, 500 points is only the start. When we get up to 50k, that fraction may show up more clearly.
That said, this smaller rubberbanding seems in line with what some folks were asking for...0 -
Wish I knew about these reset times so I would know when sleep is permitted. Fingers crossed this is a grind event so I get easy green S&V0

Some people have 504, but I maxed at 499. Losing already, w00t!0
