Really don't like how 1* and 2* characters can guard 3* characters in this event. Messes with my team compositions but its whatever. I'll take my top 5-top 10 this PvP if people are gonna be busy with PvE.

And where else are you going to find 50 point matches when your shield hopping at 1K+. I am not going to like trying to find those size of points when they do not get those huge score any more.

Overnight, 8+ hours unshielded. I had to skip about 15 low-score retaliations and still ended up with 140+ points in retaliations. I love this format

I would say #5 LDaken, Hood, Juggs. LDaken gives strike tiles, Hood steals green, red, blue for Juggs and LDaken. It is not something I would skip, but defiantly something I would take damage against.

I have actually liked the team of 2* Daken, Psylock, and Ares. You can use either Daken but my 2* does 2 strike tiles that are both more powerful than 1 from my LDaken. Psylock red goes down to 5AP, 6 black for strike tiles and then Ares yellow and green. Not a great defensive team but it works great against hood.

Honestly, nothing in this event is skippable. The only reason to skip a fight is if the retaliation will cost you more points than you earned.

I was hoping for 1st in my bracket until I noticed Shinyashes in it, with a complete Fury. I wonder if I can forego extensive shielding in this one if the score required for 1st will end up looking like 1300+ anyway, which I'm not willing to hop to.
Edit: having 4 oBWs is awesome, I can use 3 of them in the event itself, only need 1-2 black covers more for the 2-0-3 one, and send 3 of them on patrol when not playing.

Do you think putting up a 1/1/1 Sentry will make people think it's fully covered and skip? Or is Sentry not that Scary?
OBW/Ares/Juggs is pretty good on defense. But its so tough climbing with OBW because she tanks a lot and is so squishy. Will probably climb with Daken/Ares/Juggs and switch to OBW later.
Is Daken/Juggs/Ares annoying enough that people would skip it? It's just covering 3 Colors but speaking from experience Ares is more than capable to take out a complete team by itself.

Left out the troll team of 2*Daken/Spidey/Falcon overnight. Played a couple matches with it last night... reasonably easy to get to a position where you've got 2k+ per match, and have protect tiles that negate all but the big hits. But it is slooooow to play. And it lost 138 points overnight. Oh well. Without shield hopping, I think it's going to be tough to even hit 900 in this one.

Man, I've been attacked literally three times for the entire event. Currently in 8th place with 624. I should be a juicy target but nada. Assumed it was just everybody being scared of damage from every character at 270. I'm surprised to see so many having a different experience.

How come nobody's retaliating? I should be in a ton of queues.

Loving this event! While it's nice to have the freedom of using almost the whole roster, I've been sticking with Sentry, Falcon and mini Daken. It's about 50/50 for defensive wins/loses, but on offensive I've got a good run going. Even worked through most of the retaliations that piled up overnight.

i have loxley21 pushing hard on mine, I'm just doing my regular battles and shielding, even though i could use that blue cover i don't plan on overspending hp for it, he will come by more often soon, and i don't have the iso to level him up good so........
