Posting a reply to keep it off of the first post which will be used for rewards.

I'm curious if this is maybe a buy-in or non-season PVP that mistakenly has the Season V thing on it, but if not, this is certainly new ground. I will say that I was looking forward to Top Gun, since I'll finally have a correctly covered Falcon (he's been stuck at 4/5/4 for a while).

This is the level playing field event that rewards having many maxed characters, irregardless of stars. Wish I had time to play this weekend, this is the only event where I can currently compete for top5.

Balance of Power is certainly more interesting than the usual deadweight + 2 guys format.

I have been expecting something like this for months. Something different being part of the Season points.

Now, that's the first step showing they are listening to us.

I wonder if balance of power will run additionnally to a Falcon PvP.

if it were not for you being so predictable i would have lost 10 buck because no one thought you would actually say something positive

I've kept 1star jugs and storm on my roster in case they threw in something like this, though I'm a long way off knowing the best team to play with. Anyone have any ideas?

Read a bit through the thread from the first BoP and some teams that were supposedly successful were:

Juggs/Ares/Sentry
Juggs/OBW/Hood
Juggs/Laken/Sentry

In other news, I have 18 hours to find myself 10 Juggernaut covers. Watch all my standard tokens give me 3* I already maxed now

Depends on who else you have maxed and with the right covers. Ares, Daken, Thor, OBW, CStorm & Torch work well from the 2 star list. MHawkeye can help you limit health packs if you set him to use avoid shifting damage to a beefy fighter or true healer.

3 stars don't scale up to 270 as well as 1-2stars but certain ones have top tier unique skills. (Hulk black, Hood, Punisher red) but using non-maxed 3s in this event isn't recommended

Would have preferred that this replaced Blind Justice instead of Top Gun, but at least it's something "different"

If he's at 4 covers he can't be level 270.

I'm kinda looking forward to this; I've got a bunch more characters maxed now than last time.

No reason why they can't run Top Gun after this event. Maybe they'll use this as an opportunity to give out Hulk covers without the need to follow it with a Hulk PVP.

I'm expecting Combined Arms type of boosting for this. We really didn't need 240 Juggernauts. I've been disappointed before though.

Add in Spiderman (or Bagman) to make some extra web tiles, and that could be some fun. Focus your normal attacks on the weakest member, then get out enough web tiles to Devour that buffed Max level Hulk. Way easier than chipping his health away bit by bit.

So Balance of Power and a Heroic PVE to introduce a new character at the same time. Talk about a HP sinkhole with all the healthpacks everyone is going to need.
