The next event will be Heroic so the chances of Patch and tinydaken being available is near 0. So we'll probably have buffed Patch and a motley crew of near useless characters.

Get a slightly **** board and you're toast - I just watched Patch, Daken and Panther get headbutted to oblivion all because I got a red saturated board.

Juggernaut and the Hood together with a good board for the Hood and not for the player is just asking for trouble of all kinds.

Whether or not it was worth it is irrelevant - I stuck with it and pulled off my first PvE win....It was worth it to me since I need the Patch covers, and the Fury is a nice trophy

But 9 1/2 days is way too long of a grind.....

I can usually beat NY3 with Magneto/Daken/Falcon. You often have to kill The Hood with only strike tiles because you won't be able to get anything else going while The Hood is still alive.

I boosted red +3 with HT and had good success. Usually a few red matches and hood goes down in a ball of flames.

I never get anywhere close to the top 10. And this event I did it without a Fury cover. And wouldn't you know it, I pulled a blue Fury with the final tokens. What kind of tinykitty is that?

The trouble there is a bad board full of unmatchable reds very quickly turns into 0 AP for you and a headbutt to the face.

I missed top 10 in my bracket by 15 points. At least my tokens have been pretty good. I've gotten 3 Psylocke, Cmags, Hood, BP, and Falcon, plus my 13th HT cover from the progression.

Cant say it was a bad pve for me... got 4 Fury covers and a Black cover hulk.

Out of 19 event tokens, I got 1 Fury and 4 3-stars. Add 2 Patch covers for Top 50 and the HT progression cover and it has been a nice haul for this transition to 3-star player.

Well, this was a boring event. My Patch is cover maxed, and while I'd like to respec him one of these days, it's not a high priority, so I just couldn't work up the motivation to grind for 9.5 days. Ended up mostly farming a lot of ISO.

And nothing higher than a ** from any of the event tokens. Meh.

This event gives you a boatload of HP for doing well in the subs at a rate far faster than any PvP or any other PvE event and it's comparatively less grinding due to a lack of nodes. Now you still have to grind a lot because a lot of people are going for the 100 HP X 2 per day from subs too, but that's competition.

The good kind. I picked up a minimum of 1 token per sub, plus the progression ones. Got a useless red psy, and all 2*s. Be happy.

I got top 300 and I'm happy with that. Initially I set out to get the Red Human Torch cover at 80000 then I ended up getting it from a Token pull. Decided to just wait for PvP to get my last Yellow Patch, got it from a Token Pull. I also got my 4th Red Psylocke from a token pull as well. This PvE game me so many golds I needed without even having to bother with progression.

I agree. After fighting hood many times I've learned the +ap boosts can sometimes be a waste. All your doing is giving hood ap to steal. Better to use damage boosts and target hood first. YMMV.

I can't complain - two Furies (both purple), and useful covers for Bagdevil, Daken, CMags and Spidey. And a full set of Patch covers thanks to a 17th place finish I have no idea how I managed
