At what point did I miss the post regarding changes to Black Widow Grey Suit and her tile strength changing to match her abilities?0

You know, Captain Marvel's red makes an extraordinary amount of sense as a team-up to bring along to fights involving high level Bullseye, Spidey, Falcon. Too bad:
1) Good luck getting a high level Captain Marvel red (even moreso now that her event is over); and
2) Doesn't the ability to bring that as a team-up, if you CAN get one, make it less necessary to actually use Captain Marvel? As I think about it, team-ups really seem to favour bring three tanky guys and just using team-ups to add utility. I'm just imagining Patchneto teams carrying Trickery as a team-up rather than bothering with the one team where Loki gets used, and so forth.
I dunno, this whole thing seems to be full of not-necessarily-good unintended consequences.
First of all, though, they need to fast-track that button to delete unneeded Team-Ups. Absolutely fast-track it because getting loaded up on unwanted Team-Ups prevents people having fun or using the ability effectively, and then all we get to experience is the downside to it. If they want to give the ability a fair go, we NEED to be able to delete unwanted Team-Ups ASAP. Not in R60. ASAP.0 -
So, has anyone else noticed change of animation speed ever since the patch? Espionage seems to be going so fast sometimes I think it is not processing. But countdown going off seems to be a tad slower. Fighting against or using Sentry takes a long time now.. Is this how they nerf Sentry?
Also when are you guys gonna tell us that GSBW now have same strong match damage color with her power? Maybe some other chars are also changed, but I haven't check them yet.0 -
Something i noticed is passive abilities no longer auto switch tabs anymore.0

Christ I am so close to dumping this game now. Did they playtest this thing at all? Have had more frustration in the 24 hours since the patch than probably my entire time with the game. If it wasn't for the season rankings I'd just stop playing until they (hopefully) sort it all out. What terrible execution. Every time they draw me back in, they just screw up again. Sheesh.
Going on hols next week and really hope it's sorted when I come back, or I think that'll be me done.0 -
As one of the seemingly minority of forumites who actually like team ups, I have to say, the only thing that disappoints me is that I have run into far fewer Sentry's and Fury's in Versus the last 2 days. I've been farming them in anticipation of the Deadpool event and in Captain Marvel and Cage Match, I've yet to see a single one of either of them.
I wonder if the lack of those characters is just a function of my MMR tanking over the last couple events or if people are actually avoiding using those characters b/c they're tired of having people like me hunting them for team ups? Either way, I think I'm pretty ok with seeing less Sentry in Versus events.0 -

Part of the Sentrys, at least, may simply be that most people might not want to pair him with Patch given that they have the same color assignments. Few enough people have a good Fury that those that do may be getting slammed for TUs, though, so that wouldn't surprise me.0 -

And I usually start seeing Sentry and Fury around 5-600 points, or at the least much earlier than 900/1000.
Edit: Woohoo! Got a 168 Fury in Cage Match. Better than yet another Patch Team Up. Fighting seed teams is certainly more annoying, but it is pleasant to pick a fight and know that I have like a 3 in 7 chance of getting something I want - far better than the actual pack percentages.0 -

I used to use L94 Sentry in my defense team. Then I got tired of being hammered by teams using L94 Supernova against me, I stopped putting up Sentry for defense. Yeah, thanks to hunters like yourself.0 -
I don't know if it's just me.
I used to be able to play for a couple of hours straight and have great fun.
True Healing update cuts it down to about 1 hour until all my guys are hurt.
This Team-Up update cuts it down further to <30 minutes, as even the Story mode enemies slam me with TU attacks.
Half of that time spent trying to get rid of the unwanted TU tokens. This is getting frustrating.0 -

The mechanic in PVE is tough becuase the characters are buffed so the TU is buffed. If you can stick to the essentials you can still score a lot of points without taking a ton of damage. In PVP the TU has been a lot more mellow and you are still able to climb fairly close to what you did before. In the next patch there will be a delete buttong for the TU you don't want so you can go into PVP and farm the TU you really want. Once that starts happening you can bring a really good team up and make those tiles really worth something instead of a power that need 12-20AP that does next to nothing.
I also recomend going into the Prologue and seeing if you can load up on Rag's TU as he is at level 120 and it is a cheep but effective power. You should be able to get 6 AP without trying and it makes the TU worth while.0 -

My issue is in so used to skipping the boosts screen that now I'm jumping into a fight with out any team ups.
Also, why an the AI use team ups of people on their team?0 -

Your right mate, its just not as fun any more. This change is too random. You can pick a team in PVP and think yeah thats a bit of me and then BAM you get doubled Super Nova'ed and you're farked, no by your leaves no beg your pardons game over, for a team that previously you would have rolled. I can only assume that the AI has access to much better TU's then the player, dafuq! Again points for innovation, BIG minus for execution. Its not fun anymore, more an exercise in frustration. And while we're on frustrations **** is up with losses being tied to season points? The only light we had as transitionals was that ten pack hope. Maybe just maybe pull 3 Golds, now 7 battles to stand still its really painful. The stick is now SO much bigger than the carrot0

And if team ups on defense are picked from the ones you have instead of being totally random, then I'm not sure letting people delete unwanted team ups is such a great idea.

I will be honest I have not had a real issue with the TU. I think the really strong powers are still expensive with a few exceptions. I have forgotten to bring a TU to a bunch of matches and have still won going away. My problem was I did way too much PVE to start so I got a bunch of week TU that are not worth it. I also think it is a bigger issue for 2* teams. If you are running a 2* team they just don't have as much health as a 3* team so when the AI gets a power off it will hurt more. I was in cage match and the AI used a Berserker rage from a TU right before my World Rupture went off. It just helped me kill the entire team. I still had enough health to do another match before using a health pack. Once you can get rid or bad TU this will be a much better tool. You can load up on Rag's powers and get 1-2 team up's that will make it much better0

I see Icex has said if we stock pile the TU abilities that we aren't playing efficiently, but I am sitting on a ton of Ares Onslaught ability and I don't want to use them because they don't just use the TU attack power as he previously stated, they also deplete the green accordingly with the ability...that's a big hit. If I were using Ares in the match I'm fine with how the ability works, but as a team up it's double cost essentially and I just wish I could remove this as a team up in my stock.
Unless I wasn't using a character with green abilities on my team, which really, is that likely?0 -
