  • Interesting daily sales, but I think your numbers are off.

    10-pack with 1 guaranteed to be 3-star for 2700HP or 27 100HP heroics which have ~1 in 10 odds for getting a 3-star? I can't see the 10-pack being any good.

    You can only by the daily sale once, thus the deal.

    Not as easily, but it also allows us to do other stuff other than simple "numbers go higher" buffs. When there's a number there saying what everything changed by, people think that's all that changed. An icon obfuscates this some, but also opens up the opportunity to be more creative.

    Hope this does not become a "guess the buff" game. My head hurts from trying to deduce the latest implementation of rubber-banding in PvE. Not sure I can take trying to suss out how heroes are buffed as well. I'm good if you don't want to put numbers but please consider letting us know what is actually buffed.
  • So was the nerf on buffed characters intentional? It appears that criticals are no longer buffed. And the design of the buff infromation is pretty bad. Its basically we can see if a character has a big buff or a little buff, but not the actual percentage of said buff. Some math is easy to do to figure it out(IM40 is 100% still, Health X2 is easy to see). But do I really have to do math instead of just being told what the buff is? Am I missing something?

    Well actually... they added a new "Daily Deals!" feature. So you can buy 1 Heroic for 100 HP and then it is back to 300.

  • 200% environment tiles was pretty ridiculous but I prefer to know the buffs on characters. This step of obfuscation is probably just an intermediate step to allow the developers to have more control on the buffs without having to think through the UX implications but it doesn't really help the players at all. Will delay downloading this patch as long as possible.

    So the new update looks pretty cool and being the inquisitive soul I am I went to 'Recruit Heroes' as it looked new and shiny with Spider Man twinkling in the corner. Scrolled through the new coloured tabs to Bad is Good and clicked on it thinking that there would be a sub level. Alas not, I purchased Ragnorak for 350 credits and for a minute I was wondering what happened but it's all good as I can now use him in BisG and end some battles quicker than I had been previously. icon_e_biggrin.gificon_e_biggrin.gif

    Also the selection screen now arranges your covers together for the specific tournament so no longer necessary to scroll through based on their rank to find the one you want to use. Good change. icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Just downloaded the update. I'm seeing a "Doctor's Orders" tab for "Recruit Heroes" (featuring Dr. Doom). So I'm guessing that's the next event.

    edit: And the event just showed up. Strange.

    Right. The Character buff changes -- why did I just click Update, while the Hunt tourney is still going on?

  • Are you guys kidding with this increased ambiguouation ****? Nice ui updates though. Glad the critical multiplier is sane now on buffed characters.
  • Buffs have definitely been effected with this update. My modern Hawkeye was doing awesome with the 200% buff, his Blast Arrow was doing well over 3000, now its just over 2000. Not to mention the critical tiles, match two blues or reds with a critical and it was hitting for 3000-4000...now its between 1000-2000.

    I certainly don't mind that the buffs are applied at granular levels, separating out attack buffs vs health buffs, but now it feels like a pain to sift through the different changes per character and compare with their vanilla stats.
