Upcoming Patch Preview - R44 Discussion

Not a huge patch for player facing changes, but quite a few changes made on the backend for future support. Small enough that I'll just repost the changes here.

UI
- Heavily revamped the Comic Pack Store display
- Added check marks on earned progression rewards in Events and Tournaments
- An icon now displays instead of a numerical value when a character is buffed
- Updated the ability firing UI to show cost and a charge bar instead of just numerics

Misc
- Fixed another occurrence of Events appearing greyed out when they should be active
- Ability UI sounds when full are now 100% less ear shattering

    Sounds like we are being given less info so that they can change buffs on a whim? That or I am not understanding. Sounds like its just removing "200%" and replacing with a smiley face.

    Just a small update patch, was hoping for a big one *sniffle. Ui change on powers sounds like it could be helpful.

    Hopefully with different icons representing different things? Could be promising.

    After playing a high level Rag in Lightning rounds for the first time, I've gotta say -- it's just sick. In the DA tourney he rules, but he's the only 3*. In normal tourneys he's powerful, but not totally overpowering (IMO). In Lightning rounds it's just a slaughterhouse. Not even close.

    Glossing over all the guesses that IceIX won't be able to comment on anyway, I really hope this means that characters will be getting santa hats for the Christmas tournament. (Y'all will be having a Christmas event, right? Like, SHIELD needs agents to gather little flecks of ISO Red and a newly discovered ISO Green to decorate the helicarrier?)

    You think? In my experience when game developers start talking about obfuscating buffs and getting 'creative' it means someone is about to get ****

  • I really like R44, the store looks great. As does the daily deal thing.

    One criticism... the red iso flash every time you go into a featured mission is a bit much for me. Other than that, well done.

  • Interesting daily sales, but I think your numbers are off.

    10-pack with 1 guaranteed to be 3-star for 2700HP or 27 100HP heroics which have ~1 in 10 odds for getting a 3-star? I can't see the 10-pack being any good.
