    Placement Rewards:
    4-Star: Nightcrawler - Purple, Blue
    3-Star: ???
    2-Star: Steve Rogers (Captain America) - Blue, Red, Yellow

    Soooooo... a new 5* and 3* release, huh? Also, props to whoever said that Vulture would get bumped on progression rewards in favor of a boss event. 

    EDIT:     Considering the clue, along with the boss event, I'm REEEAAAALLLLYYYY hoping for 5* Archangel (Death) and 3* Angel (Warren Worthington III). Or something along those lines.

    Anyone who hit certain places (this forum, Reddit) at certain times knows the answer.  Probably one of the most spoiled characters so far.

    But!  I am glad the alliance event is not taking place over the holidays.  Now I just need to pull 3 more 5DDs over the next 3 weeks.

    Magick is another character that could fit the clue they gave, but Angel does seem more likely since it would complete the original X-Men.

    I feel the opposite, Alliance Events usually mean less overall time given to the game for me. 

    Less MPQ time = More family time. Which is precisely what I'd want for the holidays. I wanna say last year we had Galactus around this time, and the special crash of titans.

    I agree, but in normal PVE I can hit progression and play any time I want if I choose.  Alliance events require clears every 8 hours to fully contribute. So I have more flexibility, normally.  Just my take.

    Good point, wasn't thinking of casual PVE players. The every 8 hour thing does get a little tedious, but it's nice knowing that you're not suffering ranking wise in any kind of way if you take your sweet time to do it. But the game still forces you to do it all early as possible, or deal with 300+ scaled side nodes.  :s

    Is the purple Nick Fury progression reward for Cover Squirrel pvp correct? It says Earth’s Mightiest gives blue/purple as placement which would normally put yellow as progression. I need the purple though so if you take requests... please leave it how it is.

    My champ De4dpool will take the rewards, but I was hoping for some Professor X covers for my worst-covered Vintage 4*. Oh well. 

    And is it just me, or is that individual reward table looking more barren than usual? Could have sworn we got some ISO and HP rewards sprinkled throughout.

    Hopefully just means he was focusing on the other rewards rather than bulking out the post with a bunch of 500 ISO rewards.

    Is this the first time that X-23 is not in the same boost list as Red Hulk? Yay! 
    I just cannot ever use her boosted since Rulk overshadows her abilities when given the choice. Now, having Iceman in the same week as Rulk is different right? 
    And, Miles is the only Yellow user? Weird.

    Yes. 2 covers away from champing XPool at the moment. Key component to my anti Medusa Grocket Gamora team (XPool, Carol, Grocket) requires health packs, but quick wins. Awesome news

    Kind of a minor thing, but I noticed that Coulson, the character that hit the mainstream by assembling the MCU avengers, isn't buffed in the Earth's Mightiest but Nick Fury, the 4* I've been sitting at 1/14/2 for months and months on is lol. Kind of a bummer since coulson is one of 7 4* champions I have, but I'll survive.
