Oh cool, I was expecting Thor for Simulator. Guess I’ll go 8 after all. And go Kingpin and Gambattery on Hawkeye’s mission for boosted countdown madness? I think it’s a plan. (But they’ll fight over blue tiles, what to do?)
So, Thursday event is another Classic, then Daredevil again? Then... 5*? Boss?... Around when Agents of SHIELD picks up the new season. My first character guess is 5* Nick Fury. Not sure who else could merit that tier. Actually... actually! Can we pretty, pretty please continue Coulson’s story from late Winter for the (possible) 5* (possible) SHIELD-related release? I’ll happily bring my best Gambit to the 5* mission (need moar stacked deck pls).
And final happy thought: liking the progress colors for Nico. Blue from one, yellow from the other, to go with alliance/top 100 purple for full coverage. Now we just need MEH in tokens early to build him to 10 covers, 209 for that last SHIELD Training. I can live without though. Save me ISO for DD (4/5/4, but not priority) moving to Classic so I can make a final Gambit push and make him Champ 2. And with Bolt already at 4/4/5... my 4*s might be ISO starved for a bit.

There is a rumor that the next release is a 3/5 release. If so, they might skip a new release in two weeks and have a boss event in 4 weeks.  That’s a pattern they have followed before.

Plus, a holiday time boss event was what happened last year with Thanos.

I hope it's Apocalypse again! Maybe new character can be Cable, Archangel or Bishop. That would be cool

Hmmm....I forgot that we had Gambit/NC/Thor.  So yes, another 4 is in order in two weeks.

Blah on the upcoming Nico Req’d Shield Training....this MEH thing is throwing off my success chain.  Oh well.

I'll be highly disappointed if we go two seasons without one.

I think that we had Gambit 3/5, Nightcrawler 4, then Thor 5 to break up the 4, 4, 5 pattern, so they’re expecting a 3rd 4 before the next 5 to even things out.

The character rebalances, if any, are announced in a separate thread, usually 2-3 days prior to season start.   The next season will start 12/14.  Wait and see...

Exactly. It's just like 5* Spider-Man's release. We were due a 4* when both Homecoming, but they shuffled the schedule to give us the 5* for the movie tie-in. After Doc Ock, Sandman, and Spider-Man (giving us 5-4-5), we got Vulture, Mockingbird, Yondu, three 4's in a row, to get us back on pattern (or, in other words, they "switched" the 5/4 of Spidey/Vulture, and left the rest intact with the "normal" pattern).

On the other hand, they just updated the artwork for the Simulator and maybe they just want to use the new art for a while. We'll see when the event starts if the nodes are repeats or new configurations.
