      Man, you guys and your grinding every node down to 1. Currently 200ish in the main bracket, so it looks like the 1 clear sub strategy works pretty well. Ended up grinding more than I liked cause I wanted to beat Twysta in the hard sub: not bothering with the easy sub anymore.

      I was getting itchy fingers so decided to finish my clear a little early. Hopefully still get top 5!

      I would if the tokens were event tokens because I really want BP, but normal heroics isn't worth doing those BP missions without Spidey.

      I'm starting to hoard mine right now. Time will tell if I have to the patience to wait til BP is available or not.
      I'm at about 340 standard tokens right now and 5 heroics.

      Yeah I'm actually pretty disappointed that there's no event tokens being awarded for a chance to get more BP covers icon_e_sad.gif

      I agree, the Heroic Tokens I've pulled from this event have been garbage. At the start of the event I pulled a Hulk cover that I needed from the corresponding Event token. Since it has switched to general Heroic tokens I've gotten a bunch of 2 stars that are completely useless.

      So there are now 4 new nodes each with 4 rewards. There are 2 at 1000 points, one at 1200 and one at 1500. My guess is that the points on these are 'one and done' but I'm hoping someone else will do it first and let me know if that's the case so I can simply do them now and move on.

      There are stacks, but there is no way to tell if they refresh just yet.

      Looks like they're repeatable - at least stack wise.
      Just did the first node for 1k points.
      It's now worth 800.

      Well, my two Heroic tokens both gave me regeneration covers: black Daken...and yellow X-Force!

      Having these missions repeatable is going to be painful.

      There's really no reason to not do these immediately though because the overall leader is so far ahead of everyone it's hard to imagine the missions ever going below 10X, and if you're at a position where that's possible you're probably set for top 200 anyway.

      Everything at ~220-230 level, the desert stage forces you to use hulk (have a 2-cover one)... oh the joy of being able to do nothing for a whole day :S

      EDIT: oh ok... one desert stage is free-formed and another stage is pretty easy even though 230 (Yelena+Moonstone+Bullseye)

      Yeah no. Currently ranked #213, I think I'm just going to do one pass and see how it goes. I doubt there are enough people that are crazy enough to grind these every 8 hours.

      Today has been highly frustrating as well. Struggled to clear each mission in each sub once when they first opened last night, went to bed, woke up in the morning, struggled to win once against the BP missions as everything else was beyond deadly. Went out for the day. Couldn't beat anything tonight via normal means. Just broke down and cleared a single mission once with MStorm + Thor, and said 'F... this. I am not doing this again all night like in the Simulator'.

      Trying to stay awake 40 more minutes for the opening of the last round, but probably going to lose. Basing an educated guess based upon the level of "Osborn's New Scheme" as a proxy, if I go to bed, the nodes will be leveled beyond unplayable by the time I wake up in the morning short of using one of the three ways to achieve a near infinite stunlock. icon_e_confused.gif

      This issue really needs to be fixed ASAP.

      Playing characters I WANT to play and level up, even if highly suboptimal for an encounter is fun and generates enjoyment of the game. icon_e_smile.gif

      Playing character I HAVE to play to win ANY encounter because of broken mechanics is NOT fun and is WORK. icon_evil.gif

      People do not operate games to perform work. The feedback loop of requiring broken mechanics to win encounters, which in turn further drives levels higher and higher, is highly destructive to the long-term viability of the game.

      I agree with all of this...Spidey is going to be asking for Overtime pay soon, he's getting a workout these last few subevents. I don't have to much else to add but this. I put the game down yesterday and started reading a book...Doing so probably killed my chances at going for a top 200 finish, but F it. I got sucked into the book and ended up reading a hundred plus pages (Lee Child - Echo Burning for anyone that cares)
