I didn't use him when he was boosted. I tried. My understanding is that others had more success than I did.

He's pretty good but I don't know if he's good enough to use unboosted. It really depends what the rest of your roster looks like/what you're fighting.

5* match damage would get him through crashes with ease ... when he's in them once every 5yrs or whatever it is. Even a 370 flails pretty badly vs Parker.

It’s over now for at least 179 weeks or whatever the cycle ends up being, but the answer to lousy crashes because your character has poor offense is usually TM sword or Stormbreaker.

    I use Eros Arrow.

Morbius' Crash seemed difficult until I redistributed covers to 3/5/5 and he was healing faster than Peter Parker could do damage. Cakewalk from there.

My Morbius is at 284, for reference.

Right, so maybe I'm answering the wrong question. If someone asks "should I ascend x guy ever?" then the answer is yes like 99% of the time -- there are exceptions but most of us probably know all of them by now.

I tend to assume people aren't asking that anymore because most of us know the exceptions, so I tend to assume they're asking "should I prioritize x guy to ascend them over others?" That question is a little harder to answer because it depends who the others are, and what they've already got on their roster.

I ascended Deathlok. I don’t care if that is a bad idea, have you seen his face? That guy deserves a break.

He was my 2nd favorited ascension. No regrets; he is basically carrying like 30 other technologists on his back.

Just got 3* Arcade over to 5*, only my second such upgrade of a 3-to-5. He's already been mentioned, just wanted to record it for posterity. I moved my 3* over to Kamala since I have 2x 4* and her primary was furthest along of my 4* pairs.

    Base level 450, not boosted:

So all the percentages get lowered quite a bit and she loses one turn on the stun (for friendly and enemy, so that might be a bit of a wash?) but the tile manipulation stuff is unchanged and the damage numbers go up. She has a ton of health for some reason, so that's a point in favor of the 5*.

    I don't think she's a must ascend but I don't think it's a huge downgrade overall.

Kinda bad if you asked me though... having the choice of more stun and bigger percentages is always gonna be better. And I wouldn't want her to do the tanking (which she will if she gets bigger match damage) if you screwed up the winfinite, or couldn't get it rolling on the first turn.

What team are you using her in that takes advantage of the percentage buffs? The second yellow passive only buffs her own damage, and as a 4* it's going to be pretty meaningless.

Why don't you want her to tank?

Dropping from 175% to 75% Thunderbolts damage buff is a big deal. Losing a turn on the stun is disappointing too. Her 2nd yellow passive usually never happens because you have more AP. The Red AOE is OK, not great. I think she'll fall into the Aunt May category of stopping at 370.

I think the stun is kind of a wash, because you lose a turn on the enemy stun but also on the friendly one. I suppose it depends what your team looks like, and how long you can afford to lose a teammate.

The reduced party buff is a big deal, but it also heavily depends on your team comp. Do the infinite teams with her use other Thunderbolts?

I'm using Taskmaster with Sniper Rifle on his black. And yeah he has the Thunderbolts affiliation so...

I don't want her to tank because 1) in case you couldn't start the winfinite on turn 1 from not using AP boosts/supports (or just going against a Chasm where you definitely won't be using your first turn) and 2) haven't looked into this but there might be some cases where another character could get better benefits from doing the black matches (this might be support dependant).
