Hmm, he upgrades well for a support character I guess. Since Maximus arrived, I've felt like the two may compliment one another - ascended ofc.

Yeah, I'm really not sure. Annihilus seems like a build-around but I'm not quite sure how to build around him, or with who. I do think he'll play quite a bit better than he looks on paper.

Anybody seen ascended Captain Britain yet? I'm close ....and I love her already so don't want to ascend if she's massively nerfed.

Isn't that Betsy / Psylocke? Her stats are one page back (41). The roster I regularly mention also has her over 500 if you want higher numbers.

Lol I was going to go back and check -- I knew she'd already been posted. I figured it was easier to do it again than dig through several pages.

Yella:

• 5AP: 3 turn CD deals damage total protect tiles per hit
• Passive: Create 1009 protect up to number of muts
• Passive: Create 2254 protect up to number of muts

Pink:

• 8AP: Improve protects by 635 for each Excali then damage team for total protect strength
• 8AP: Improve protects by 1128 for each Excali then damage team for total protect strength
• Passive: Protects +100% while in front

There are a couple teams where she makes an amazing support (and the protects come from elsewhere), that I could see leaving her at 4 since her ability increase drops by 300% (why??) causing her Pink so suffer greatly. See: Magik4, MultiMan, Nico, Spidermay etc.

However (Bucket)! Most of the time you want her to tank to get the protect increase, plus the health and match damage increase so worth the ascension, I just don't know about chasing her over others (if you have top tiers to ascend still).

I still very much like this character, wish they didn't nerf her percentages so much, but still coo.

I'm torn. I use her a lot and she is good to counter omega teams with kitty and Colossus but she's too squishy.....do I want to make her more survivable and lose that massive damage bonus? 😵‍💫

Not yet. Mine is 330 or so. I think he's actually not eligible to be ascended yet -- there's a waiting period for new characters.

I ran Gabby/Sam/Juggernaut a bit in sim last season and it worked really well!

If you are using her in PVP there is almost no way you would leave her at 4.

I only see 2 reasons to leave her at 4: You have other 4 stars you want to ascend first, or you are only using her on an offensive team that easily dumps out big protects and nets a decent amount of pink AP. I'm working on Blob and then Northstar, after them, I personally will likely be prioritizing her.

If you have Magik4, MultiMan4, Beast4, VenomApril3 ascended, they are super hott for Betsy. VenomApril gets very good at 5, as an FYI for this thread.

That being said, there are easier / healthier ways to destroy Red. If she just started the match with her first protect tile, it would honestly make her quite a bit better.

Also, since HoneyBadger is so hott right now, my prediction is that Mephisto3 will ascend better than his 5 star variant. Pair him with Badger and watch the magic happen. So fun, and an excellent defensive team that punishes AP gain. It's a damn shame it takes average players years to get 3stars up.

It shares the same slang definition as "hot", but with an extra T to really sell it. As for "hot", it basically means "desirable", "sexy", "preferable", "in / relevant".

Yes he becomes even more awesome! Not sure about his blue, nobody ever uses him for hammer time.

At 5 covers: Destroys a CHOSEN column and 10 random tiles.

I've tried many times to create a crazy board shake team built around his blue. It's fun when it works, but obviously not as reliable as the meta uses.

There's some shenanigans to be had when you can shake shake shake dat board.
