It happened when i used hood sentry dock ok for BP and goons on wakanda.. Used wr and countdown tiles were layed, in the turn when they explode they exploded almost at the same time, just took 1 sec to all tiles to be blown opposite to the normal animation that takes atleast 5 secs or more. Wich means faster hops.0

yeah, happened to me too. They went off quickly like Speed Shot. But whenever I played against his CD timers took FOREVER! Like 5 secs for each rupture. So not sure what's going on with that dude....0

Hey, they could rebalance Sentry by making the WR animation super slow on offense...0

Oh good. So it sounds like his tiles countdown faster ONLY for the player using him. But he's even slower to fight against in PvP?!
I think the developers are encouraging people to Sentry bomb to the top of PvP.0 -
Wait.... I know it's only a tiny little itty bitty nudge in power, but..... does anyone else find it hilarious that somehow they've managed to actually buff Sentry?0

Oh come on, they've been doing these animation speed-ups for a while on (OBW espionage, etc). The devs obviously just forgot to change it for the fights against him (which shows a pretty sketchy codebase if the animations on offense / defense both need to be changed for some reason). As much as you'd like it to be, this isn't some conspiracy to sell more Sentries / health packs.0 -

The problem with 4 on Supernova and Sacrafice is you are inflicting a lot more self damage. Putting Sarcafice to 5 significantly reduces the self damage and allows you to Sentry hop more without using a health pack. With both Supernova and Sacrafice at 4 you are basicly garuntee needing a health pack after each fight.
If you want 5 in Supernova you need to make sure you bring Daken along for more strike tiles. If you go 5 in Sacrafice you have a 1 man wreaking crew and you can bring along different players. I had Sentry 5,5,3 based on cover drops and I needed to bring another stirke tile generator in order to make WR really effective. I used BP alot and went through a lot of health packs. I now have him at 3,5,5 and he works much better especially if you bring Hood along with you to generate HP.0 -
Supernova doesn't work with Daken because Supernova at 4 or higher is pretty much guaranteed to destroy every one of your strike tiles, and the damage it does is enough that it doesn't get much (relatively) out of strike tile to begin with.
Without considering WR's unfair interaction with strike tiles, Supernova can hold quite well against WR. Taking more damage on your own team is irrelevent because ending the game quicker has a significant benefit too. At the level of Sentry tier of competition you're talking about most strong moves will kill a guy if not end the game outright so if Supernova takes someone out you'll take it because that guy can easily take a guy with a 3 or 4 match move too when you're fighting guys on Sentry tier level of power.
Sacrifice is usually a no brainer to max because the game for some reason still fails to recognize that strike tiles are generally overpowered and has almost nothing that punishes them. The damage tradeoff for upgrading isn't really even that important. You can take more damage for each upgrade for all I care and you should still max it out simply because you can't go wrong with putting a large amount of strike tile strength out in this game.
If WR's interaction with strike tile is fixed, and they added better anti-strike abilities (for example, Photonic Blast should destroy strike tiles not protect tiles) I think you can make an argument for 5 or 3 in any of his colors. Until that happens, maxing WR (for being overpowered) and Sacrifice (because strike tiles are too strong in general) is pretty much a no brainer.0 -

Bleh. why worry about that the cheesers are gonna cheese no matter what. Let them have the top 5 rankings, eventally they will max out their rosters and get bored and leave.
Heck, I have never pumped ISO into my Sentry (doesn't hurt that he is only 2/0/2 currently.) I don't like characters that harm the team.0
