    Based on the past several character posts, either:

    1. We're all overlooking something important that's worded oddly in the description, that makes him not useless.
    2. They got the description post wrong.

    3. They buff him sometime in between today and when he shows up in game.

    4. Is "they release him and he's awful," but I think that's unlikely.

    Honestly, Toni is pretty decent IMHO, and Elsa is at least mildly useful, so the time to pull out will probably be Toni/Elsa/Frankie. That was my plan, at least unless the 5* forcing Toni out was spectacular.

    If Zemo is a dud then that just makes that trio even better, by comparison.

    Since everyone needs a nickname, I'm going to beat the rush and dub him 'Baron Zero' since he does nothing - LOL.

    While I was doing some PvE it dawned on me that he might be meant to like 4 star Kingpin. In that he's meant for PvE nodes for the AI team rather than for us players. Imagine a new PvE event designed around Hydra. They already have Bob - Agent of Hydra, now Baron Zero and we just learned from S0kun that his feeder is an upcoming release (likely another Hydra). In PvE with goons or Bob + other characters it won't be so bad that one of his powers does some self team damage. Also imagine a Wave node that's 3 waves long where Zemo is in wave 1 so that after you down him, he keeps generating free AP for the rest of the waves (Bob for example could use Purple/Yellow so could be 1 or more Bobs in all 3 waves).

    I could see them doing this, but I bet it would be an NPC or boss. Releasing a player character for that purpose would be very weird (but again, given... everything, recently, who knows).

    @GrimSkald I have been considering this myself. I had fun with Toni when boosted. I don’t play for placement, when I get in top 50 or 25 usually it is happenstance. So fun might be the driver here. You might have me convinced.

    I don't think Zemo's that bad, not OMG meta or anything, but doesn't have to be top 10 to not suck.

    I can see his purple being useful if you start the fight with 6 purple. Can steal the enemy's starting AP so you don't have to worry about emma/may, or a riri green stun. Not on turn 1 anyway. And if it's their strongest I guess.

    And his CD (fortified at least) seems like it could lead to some fun shenanigans. Just need to find something that costs 6 or less, so that Zemo makes it only cost 3. Then won't matter if there's an extra drain, since you won't care about having more handy.

    His yellow is a bit weird, but making a hydra CD on every power firing could be crazy as well. Maybe with ascended coulson?

    I've been asking for Zemo for years, so I'm just happy to see him finally show up.

    As for his kit:
    You know how sometimes a character is OP at release, then gets nerfed after they leave LLs?

    Maybe Zemo's master plan is to fly in under the radar at release so that when his backup is released later...boom... He becomes awesome, but not everyone has him covered because they skipped him.

    Not likely, but I'll be chasing him regardless and testing him with Karla.

    Fingers crossed for 3* Citizen V (that scales into meta and has a Zemo costume)

    and 4* Zemo with powerstones (after stealing a new body from an alternate universe version of himself)

    or Techno/Fixer (with an ability to down an ally while uploading their consciousness to a computer before bringing them back into the fight firing a free power as they come back up)

    Love the OG comic-based character. We don't need more random Spider-Man variants I've never heard of.
    Kit wise we'll have to see. Doesn't seem good at first glance. Donno who I'd drop out of my current rotation of early-champed 5 stars (mid to high 450-ish Level range) for this.

    If they are willing to dip into a comic reference like this that fills "missing lore" in the roster, maybe we will get Red Skull eventually someday...

    Based on past behavior, I doubt they would change the standard two-feeder stock image even if there is only one for Zemo…

    It's possible both are upcoming...
    Or one is upcoming and providing the other one, which is already in game, would give it away.

    From a purely selfish standpoint Moonstone not being a feeder is good as I hadn't bothered champing her yet. Zemo looks a bit...meh. I guess his black power might be useful.

    Maybe the upcoming 4* will be the FAlcon and Winter Soldier Zemo, with one of his abilities being "awkward dance moves."

    Great to see one of the big missing villains in the game either way though. I always wait to try them in game, it's pretty hard to predict if the powers as written are ever going to be good.

    Maybe coming soon means the data is coming soon, normally they leave a blank space maybe they just changed that to coming soon as will be revealed soon

    It's a stock image.

    I understood the purpose of the post was to let players know that there was no reason to go crazy trying to put levels on some existing 4 star in hopes of double dipping some extra covers.

    In other words he will have ZERO feeders at launch and we are getting 1 feeder very soon (maybe as soon as the next 4) and the other feeder slot will remain open until such time as it makes sense for another character to go there.

    If we are going to have evil Germans I would actually prefer Baron Von Strucker. He is more entertaining than the Skull.
