Yes because that's never stopped and 20 page thread on whats good bad and ugly about a new release before.

There's quite a lot of that in the early part of the post. Most people seem to think he's "meh" at best. Barring being able to actually play him there's really nothing to add, so we don't get that second wave of "Oh, he's not that bad, let me tell you why" or "Oh yeah, he's trash."

As far as the "keep it on topic" part goes, this is a forum, people are going to talk. If it strays enough we can split a new thread off, but I don't think this thread hit that more than your average one. Heck, maybe we should filter out all the "the game is dying!" posts...

As a 66 yo member of the LGBTQ group and having lived through a lot of **** during the six decades of my life, there's nothing in any 'optional to play' game that I'm going to let bother me to the point where I have to express my own personal discomfort in a public "gaming" forum about one small aspect of said game, which most likely doesn't really interest other players in hearing about anyway.
There's more than enough already existing specific places on the web for that kind of discussion.

Perhaps keeping a somewhat rational perspective about how a GAME intersects with one's real life, is something to consider.
