So, Namor! Do people like him?

If you like board destruction he is excellent.
I'd place him as a solid A tier character.

I LOVE board destruction (which is why I love MThor), so I'm excited to try him!

I "double dipped" (I completed my second 4★ Namor yesterday and Ascended them,) so my 5★ Namor is in the mid-460s. I've run him a bit in PVE and of course in the last PVP, got a reasonable way before needing to shield.

I'd say he's decent... probably A tier (not S.) His red does not hit hard at all (at 5 covers, boosted to level 592, it does about 10K,) but with MThor it gets super cheap very quickly. His Black hits reasonably hard, but doesn't quite get to "overwhelming" like some other powers (even with a lot of Wrath points it was landing in the 50-60K range at most. I just respeced him to 5 black, though, that may make it much better.) As people note, MThor is his best pal as she does constant tile destruction (which he loves,) and they only overlap in Red. The third is pretty optional, but don't pick anyone who needs to keep a tile on the board because there's a lot of destruction going on. I used Strange because he's boosted, but his eye got blown up a lot...

Agatha is great with her purple tiles. Also all the cascades make for big match damage very quickly.

Has anyone official acknowledged the issue with Namora and retroactive shards?

I think he's really good, but he's actually hurt a bit by the fact that his best partners are so good.

Like m'Thor Shang-Chi facerolls everything already. Is m'Thor/Namor a better pick 2 team? How much better? Is that even possible? Is Namor a better 3rd than anyone else for pick-3?

He will absolutely be a must-use when boosted, which puts him above many other characters.

That's a very good point. Hey, she will even be in the same pool with him!

Seriously, though, now that I've maxed my second 4★ Namor I'm done pulling Legendaries until the Agatha/Mephisto/Namor pool, which will probably be the best pool we're going to have for a while.

I'm just under 440 pulls right now and my Agatha is at 509, I should be able to finish her before the end of next season and make some very serious gains on Mephisto and Namor...

He's decent and quite fun, though I'm pretty sure his 3 star variant is quite a bit better. Who's got him to 5 already? eh, eh??

I think @Scofie mentioned reaching out, but I haven't seen any response, nor shards.

Namora retro rewards are getting patched this evening and that should be the last issue remaining from our recent feeder update for Namor (Phoenix Five). If you're still experiencing issues with your account after the patch, please reach out to CS directly since we'll have to take a look at your account individually.

    Thank you!

Should we have received the rewards already?

I don’t think anyone got any, if we were supposed to.

I'm guessing no one received the retro 4* Namora rewards yet. They don't seem to have been pushed.

Nothing pushed this morning at the regular update time.

Is everyone just waiting for their shards so they can use him? Like 75% of this thread is about retro shards and not the actual character...

Partially, yes, for me. They will certainly get my Namor into a more usable / playable state.

Looks like we had a technical issue last night and still trying to get it out. I'll know later today.
