All I know is that when I fought level 270 GR99 against my 467 mThor he stomped my health down to 0 twice in a row!

I saw similar things in Shield Training. I took a 370 Carol against him in the 1v1 and just by match damage alone he had me down to 30% health by the time I fired her Black to win and that was like on turn 5-6!

I saw similar in the hardest node on Shield Training when we get to use him vs those over leveled grunts.

He must be doing 13% of max health.

I think it might be 13% of team max health. I still can't figure it out -- the 13% sometimes doesn't match up with max health either.

If you have more AP than him and more health - which you will on offense in a 1v1 as soon as you make a match, then he hits you for 13% with 3 covers purple passive, PLUS another 50% for his black passive (5 covers).

So he was hitting some of my 5s for like 21k.

Yeah, I think he might be good. Obviously we're not playing very many 1v1s, but the potential is there -- it'll be figuring out a team to take advantage of it.

Oh no....oh no, this changes everything!!!!

My entire worldview has collapsed in on itself.

So the 13% is definitely 13% of the enemy opponent (not enemy team) max health, and this is boosted to 19.5% of enemy opponent max health if he has less ap than opponent.

This is with only 3 covers on purple, and increases to 21% with 5 on purple, which would be boosted to 31.5% with less ap.

This is both if he makes a match, so needs to be high enough to tank at least 1 colour, or fires a power, and his pink and black are relatively cheap. Fire a cheap power then make a match and you can potentially deal 63% of max health off the largest enemy, at the expense of leaving him exposed to their next match.

That makes sense, the extra from black was what I was missing. I wasn't watching enemy AP.

Also, seems like his own black power draining AP is a good thing, since it keeps that passive going.

63% of max health can be a TON against some enemies. Again, there's some team building to do here, but I think he's quite powerful with the right setup.

Very useful with mthor & Riri. Stunlock and he hits green when Riri goes airborne. He also uses purple-black for stun if/when you get down to final opponent

    He's actually quite fun.

He's surely one of the worst characters as far as lore and art is concerned, but oh boy is he quite fun and useful! Melting 400k health Jugs with a 6 cover 4 star is fun.

Yeah, I lost to him with my Juggs after losing my other two characters. He definitely has his uses.

I took ascended Jugs1 and ascended Deathlok to leave a defensive team against ascended Antivenom and MThor... I never thought I'd see the day Antivenom would win a fight. Turns out Rider was matching multiple colors, not pretty. Antivenom was the only one left but he managed to take out Lok in the end.

In case this went unnoticed, Ghost Rider 2099's feeder information was updated on the first page. He is a secondary feeder to Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes); he is not yet a primary feeder.

Yeah, I noticed that myself when I champed him. That's weird, I wonder if he'll primarily feed someone in the future. Blade is also only a secondary feeder too.

That may be something they're doing with second feeders, or they may intend to add a primary to these characters way, way, way down the line. I can definitely see a 5★ Blade being a thing, and we actually do have a bit of a dearth of Supernatural-based 4★s

I’d suggest GR2099 would feed a different 2099 character, but I’m not sure who that would be.

    He is not supernatural.

I dunno. He does feed 5* GRRR.

This guy is seriously OP. His passive purple does WAY too much damage.

He's really good. He just does an insane amount of damage.
Someone is going to construct a very strong (and, critically, very fast) "punch up" team with him. I'm still not sure who else is on that team.

In the alliance event this guy is ridiculous, 20k+ damage a turn

This will surely be nerfed at some point
