Should we know the feeders now or are there none?

Find out tonight when the fresh data is pushed out... Not familiar with GR99 so I have no guess other than adding onto 2Rider's chain.

I can't believe his name is Zero Cochrane but possibly I am seeing things the creators never intended...

Presumably the name is meant to evoke binary code, as the character is a hacker in 2099.

The description is so very 90's.
    Hacker? Check
    Uploaded into cyberspace? Check
    Cool high tec body? Check
    L33t sp33k? Probably

At this point, I’m just gonna assume this character feeds no one and isn’t fed either.

    Thanks.

So you're saying the character from the '90s is ... from the '90s? :D

Another source indicates new4Rider is a 2ndary feeder for 5Rider. Other than that, no other feeding known.

So he didn’t get any feeders?

Well, there are 73 3s and 155 4s so even if every 3 fed 2 4s, you couldn’t feed them all right now.

Hood already feeds Johnny Blaze and Prowler…

There’s no other strong candidate to feed a Ghost Rider.

I think he might be good?

I was doing the "do 20 powers" quests, and Visage of Vengeance seems to fire all the time, and hit really hard.

I've got no clue why or how -- the power indicates that he does "13% damage" -- 13% of what? Who knows! In the PvE nodes I was using for testing, it was something like 15-25k damage each time though.

3phisto only feeds Hellcat. 3phisto is thematically a perfect feeder for A Ghost Rider.

But is he appropriate for GR99? I know nearly nothing about GR99, no idea if his nature is the same as Carter Slade, Johnny Blaze, etc.

I actually think Hood wouldn’t be a good feeder, nor would Mephisto, thematically.

GR2099 is a robot body containing the
…..mind?….of a hacker who was killed by a toxin who uploaded his memories etc as he was dying. Nothing supernatural about him.

So he didn't "make a deal" with Big Red for those L33T skillz?

The only other 3★ with an opening to feed is The Hunter, no connection there.

Sounds like GR99 shouldn't be feeding 5Rider either then?

He's got a chainsaw hand so maybe he'll be fed by 3★ Leatherface or 3★ Ash someday ...

Don't laugh, Ashley J. Williams, he of S-Mart fame, was in Marvel Zombies back in '07 :D

It's interesting that you're basically making a case that he's only good as a 4, for people in 5 land - or at minimum, unboosted, as you'd need to make sure he's always lower health than his opponents for maximum effect. And the fact that he hides for a long time until he does something with 6 purple makes him an interesting kit as someone who you want to keep/run at a low level.

I mean it's a fine approach since, realistically, finding a spot in the character design where "does new stuff" and "is useful" is often very tricky. Also the majority of players cannot expect to ascend every character given dilution and all, at least certainly not very quickly.

So it's interesting that after a year of "hey, this seems like a good character to ascend" we got a "maybe you pull this guy out as a boosted 4 and he can do some shenanigans with a tank partner".

All that said he's more of a novelty than broadly useful. The fact that you can use supports to start with 6+ purple makes him viable.

I went back and read that power, and it's still totally unclear what the 13% is OF, but it says on the forum post that he does damage if an enemy is higher level than him, and in game it says it's if an enemy has more health. I assume it's the second one, but the first one would be way more interesting!

Also, he only needs for any enemy to have more health than him, so it's not super difficult to meet the condition. If you just save the highest health enemy for last, the passive will fire quite a bit.

Yeah I think it works the same as that other 4 star character (I always think it's 4 star Jubilee or Negasonic but it's someone else released around that time and later got a rebalance) who has a passive where they do extra damage to anyone with more health than them and at 5 covers it applies to their whole team. This is how I know we have too many 4s when I can't recall which character that is. LOL

From your description it's 13% of enemy health as long as they are higher in health level which would make it basically identical to that power.

I need to test it and pay a bit more attention to figure out what the percentage represents.

It's definitely NOT 13% of the enemy in front's current health. It might be 13% of their max health, but I don't think that number matched either. It could also be 13% of the enemy team's current health.

All I know is that when I fought level 270 GR99 against my 467 mThor he stomped my health down to 0 twice in a row!
