Using the Cybertek 101’s retractable electrosaw and morphable nanomer alloy claw, Ghost Rider rips through any bithead glitched enough to get in his way. Select a column, then destroy that column and deal 176 damage. If the enemy has more special tiles than you, destroy another 1 random rows, prioritizing those with enemy special tiles, and deal another hit of 176 damage (destroyed tiles do not deal damage or generate AP).

What's the damage percentage of on the Purple passive (6% rising to 13%)? Is that 6% of enemy health, match damage or something else? The purple stun is nice (3 turns) giving you 5 turns to use it.

I like the idea of the Black (always wanted to be able to convert AP from one color to another) but the cost seems way too high. 5 AP cost plus 3 AP instantly that gets wasted creating the CD which means 8 AP before you start converting anything and even then it's only 3 AP a turn (not 3 AP per color which would be WAY more useful and in line with the cost of this power).

The game is definitely overweight on Ghost Riders now. Deadpools too for that matter.

Yeah, he was on the Calendar. I can only assume that the 2* Ghost Rider was a sort of "holiday release" for Halloween.

I'm not sure about Ghost Riders but Deadpools are pretty consistently their best selling characters. I remember somebody from Demiurge used to say that if they could, they'd go back and remake the game as "Deadpool Puzzle Quest."

2 mephistos and 2 new ghost riders. I guess we've left the spider verse and entered the rider verse. Black heart and cosmic ghost rider soon?

Which is why they gave us all the free roster slot - to offset the out-of-rotation 2*GR.

It would have been nice to get a different variety for Halloween - not sure why we can't have Werewolf by Night who has already been in a MCU show and seems a great fit for a 4.

His Purple passive actually looks good especially against goons in PVE. If you add in a damage buffer when he makes a match that could do significant damage each turn.

I like his art, but overall just another 4* to roster and use when essential.

Could that have had anything to do with 3* Deadpool instawin? Is 5* Deadpool in the Fan Favourites?

This was after 4* Deadpool though, and he was strong but not game-warping the way Whales was. I believe it's also the reason the daily thing is Deadpool-themed.

It is pretty obvious the Devs have a Deadpool bias cough cough Devpool but my experience of comic book fans has always been that Deadpool is a classic Marmite character - as many love him as absolutely find him irritating beyond belief.

As for Ghost Rider - I dunno enough about him these days but I suspect his prime days were somewhere early 90s which is what makes no sense we don't have Danny Ketch - after all if not for that GR popularity there would definitely not be this GR.

But here we are. Maybe we can have a Giant Size Man Thing to satisfy everybody next year!

A passive that only works when punching up ... a new dimension in disincentivizing leveling and ascending. It's thematic and for a lot of players and in certain situations it may be great.

The AP conversion is in GR2099's colors, even when he's the weakest on the team, so be careful with that ... ! Depending on your roster and the boost list this could be amazingly useful, useless, or outright detrimental.

They still don’t have the ideal Halloween character, jack o lantern, we only have a couple of green goblin variants so why not???

I'm sorry to say that it is even worse than that. Nowhere does it say that effect occurs per turn. As far as it is written, it seems you get 3 AP after waiting 3 turns and that's it. I am going to say it is as you say, but they forgot to add "each turn" to the description. Otherwise, it'd be fantastically awful. IMM40 produces36 AP from a cost of 6 after only 2 turns. As it's written, this guy produces 3 AP after 3 turns and a total cost of 11AP.

I think readers are assuming it ticks each turn because if it doesn't ... that's one sad effect. Of course it's just one facet of a multifaceted power so it may have been suppressed in the "balancing" ...

The main point of black is not the AP conversion, it's this (this would be at 5 covers and level 270.)

"While this tile is on the board, allies gain a 60% damage bonus and burst heal for 1049 health when they make a match or fire an ability."

It's not bad, to be sure. Lay this down and open up with a big AoE.
