right and I find CfC a striclty better experience than "support enabled" PVP

It's fine. Not as interesting as the ones with supports but the boost list is fun with the character everyone hated so much they got him neutered and the character everyone loves so much that despite being even more OP will probably never get spayed.

This is just solo Deadpool v mpq. Totally different! Except for all the fights.

They have told us they’ll run DPWvMPQ again on Aug 8, though.

    “Well, it’s Groundpool Day. Again.”

I'm getting attacked by quite a few 550 rosters in Claws for Concern so I wonder if MMR is a bit scewy for this one?

You probably just broke MMR, or they did.

Need to know how many points they're taking off you per hit.

If you're losing, like, 5 or less points this is normal -- you're getting farmed.

If you're losing 40 or 50 that means something is going on (but it likely means something is different about the scoring environment, not matchmaking).

I'm at 492 points, lol! I have been playing this game for 8 1/2 years so I have a bit of PvP experience and this is not normal, lol!

I am losing more than 5 per hit that is for sure.

I understand MMR, the ELO points scoring system, etc, I have not climbed high enough to become visible under normal circumstances and I am not just being farmed from 550s who have broken MMR - something weird is happening. Not much I can do about it to be fair it was just interesting in this event which all of a sudden has the god boosts for Wolvie.

Interesting! Dunno. This can also happen when there's no 550 teams out for them to be matched with.

Sorry that is happening to you. I'm in 550 MMR and did not see more non-550 teams than usual in my climb until well over 1300 points. Which is the norm for me, once I get about 1.3k I can see 4* and low 5* rosters both for 35-40 points if they have also been able to climb that high or at 1-5 points if they have not.

MMR never favors me. This is especially true when fighting mThor. She almost always cascade into enough ap to wipe my team by 3rd or 4th turn during her boost week. Health pack usage is worst than Thanos event.

Yeah this is the weird thing - I am on 490 points yet I just got hit by an MPQ superstar, let's call him The SpaceShip for 31 points! My highest character is 495! I would normally expect a low level loss to such a player when they had smashed through MMR but such a loss on the ELO scale suggests we were on similar points at time of the attack and by the general laws of 550 my roster should be too **** to be seen - this isn't the first instance in this PvP - in fact nearly every hit I have taken is from a 550 player! It is what it is and hopefully is just an anomaly - it wont really affect my intentions so it isn't a big deal - the 550s get a snack! Sorry Entrail - I am in Slice 1, lol!

Despite the fact that the highest character on the roster has 495 points, ELO-based picks sometimes lead to strange scenarios where you find yourself paired with players with much higher ratings, such as characters with a max level of 550. By the way for relaxation, I watch michelle dockery nude and it calms me down very well, before the next game. This is often because the MMR and ELO systems can depend on recent PvP results, not just character level, meaning you may encounter a high ranked player if they have recently dropped points or had many wins that temporarily boosted their ranking.

Despite having a roster with a highest character at 495 points, the ELO-based matchups can sometimes lead to strange scenarios where you’re paired against significantly higher-rated players—like those with maxed-out 550 characters. This often happens because MMR and ELO systems can be influenced by recent PvP performance rather than purely by character level, meaning you might face someone with a high roster if they’ve had a recent drop in points or a lot of wins that boosted their score temporarily..

MPQ's version of ELO doesn't carry over between events.

It used to, many years ago! We'd all start off events at 0 and purposely lose hundreds of fights until we saw brand new 1* teams. This was updated a few months into the game's life.

When people talk about ELO as it relates to MPQ, they're just talking about PvP points. The game assumes that players with similar PvP scores for an event are at a similar skill level. That, and one's roster, essentially make up the matchmaking algorithm.
