The events calendar shows the 2* release last week, which was a one-off for the 4th, and the 4* release this Thursday.

It would be a welcome surprise if players got a break from the 2-week cadence for new releases, but to my knowledge, that has never happened before.

Point is if you need to fill the calendar I would rather you repeat these events over 48-hour subs. Waiting for a timer to refresh and constantly having to remind alliance mates not to overclear is not fun.

Mostly went back to pure pvp due to the 48 hour nodes

Her abilities look amazing.

If I am reading that Purple correctly she is going to create incredible tiles when the repeater goes off (summing up all enemy tiles strength into 1 super tile for her) when facing SAP teams.

If the Blue buffs match and power damage look out but it's another one of the few powers that can make your characters 5/5/5 which makes it handy and better than Black Bolts (poor Bolt is so bad now).

Even the Green gives automatic multiple damage ticks per turn if you keep her under 4 tentacle tiles making her a potential partner with Okoye.

I imagine she will be a handful ascended.

And he's... interesting. I bet he's one of those characters that get noticeably worse at the 5* level since they'd get a bit broken with that much HP.

Maybe our forum historian could tell us, I remember it being mentioned the devs don't play the game at the 5* end of game play. So this characters tracks if it is good at 3* and 4* and utterly useless at 5*

Also I really hope at 5*, the yellow ability gets another power called "swaps, swaps, swaps" where it swaps the team lowest 3 colors into the teams strongest color.

Dunno about BCS. Demiurge did say this frequently (they said they'd generally restart their accounts from scratch before they got to the 5* level).

It seems like their new approach is to avoid giving out any feeder information until after the character is live (aka when covers get sent out, or not, as retro rewards).

This officially is to avoid any miscommunication causing players to use resources on characters they may not want to if the initial communication misidentifies the actual feeder. It also has a side effect of making it impossible to double-dip via hoarding and doing a targeted leveling of a feeder prior to release, unless one chooses to take a gamble and it pays off.

That said they usually have put up information about new 5s before release, but not always, and at latest we should see them as rewards in the new event preview in game when that appears. Which usually happens about 12 hours before it's live, but again, not always.

It might simply be this character provides a spoiler to D & W and they don’t want that to happen. Marvel seem to have gone to a lot of trouble with this one which I can understand what with it being their only AAA 2024 release.

Marvel Strike force just released a new character “Hotpool” that is like Deadpool if he was never disfigured and was a pretty boy. Wonder if it something from the movie and maybe the same one MPQ will get. All the marvel mobile games seem to release the same characters at the same time for movie events.
