    Iron May with Black Widow's Baton - 5 Purple at LVL 5
    Spider-Man: India with Atlantis - 5 Green at LVL 3
    Spider Gwen with Yaro Root - 5 Green at LVL 3

    So you start with 10 Green and 5 Purple if they all fire.

    Spider Gwen's Purple to make 12 web tiles at LVL 5 for 5 Purple AP
    Spider-Man: India's green (8 AP) at LVL 5 does 12*W damage, where W is the damage per web tile on the board.
    Aunt May can increase damage by 250% if she's below 60% health if she has her Yellow at LVL 5 and she is ascended to LVL 4.

    So doing that math, assuming I didn't miss anything, Spider-Man: India is doing
    (1,596,960) / (12 * 2.5) = 53,232 damage per web tile with their green?

    Are either of the Spiders ascended, and how do their abilities change when they hit the next level?

    If I have this correct, if you use +2 G/B and +2 All AP Support, you can do this even if only one of the green support fires?

    My India is 550, not bothering taking 4* may to half health or whatever the threshold is. Take +2 all +2 green and +2 purple. All supports fire you end up with 10 purple and 16 green enough to fire each twice. India trap tiles count against Gwen's web tile creation so I put his trap power so it only does 2 at start. So each firing of Gwen's purple puts out 8 webs x2 for 16 webs. His green does 16763 per web. So with Mays increase it's 804,624 per casting of green x2 = 1,609,248. When I made that other ss he was at 549.

    Where does purple AP #10 come from? The Baton I have as giving 5 Purple. Add in +2 All and +2 Purple, and that gives 9.

    All 3 of those supports I have at level 5, batons give 6 at level 5.

    My Batons are only LVL 3, and show 5 AP. Thanks for clearing that up.

    I've never really paid that much attention - Do other supports change the amount of free AP as they increase in level?

    Yeah most do.

    I don't know about "most". Some of the old supports that grant free AP have a small increase in the effect as ranks are added ... For instances, Tower goes from 2 to 3, Batons from 5 to 6.

    What chances FAR more dramatically, and makes more impact, is the increase in %chance of the effect firing at all, as levels are added. They typically start very low, around 10% at base level, and increase to 60% - 80% at max level.

    Yeah most do.

    I wasn't commenting on how dramatically they increase just that they do, and most is accurate I say. The ones that give 3 at lower levels don't go up but the ones that give 5 at lower levels do.

    There is a thread called something like Supports that give AP in the Tips and Guides section of this forum.

    That list has a few things incorrect. Based on the list it's 6/20 that increase. They're missing 4 of thrm. Sp//dr, the tinkerer, yaro root and avengers tower. So 10/20. But also they have the milano twice so there's really only 19. So 10/19.

    I knew Mays red was going to be strong, but today is the first time I tried this out in full force.

    This is just stupid. Whoever did quality testing before she released is bad at their job.

    Start match fire red next round please.

    I hate nerfs…hatehatehate nerfs, but this is comically broken.

    Mays red needs to be rebalanced before supports in PvP go live because this is legit stupid.

    I've used 5aunt may with a random support that gives ap (yaro root right now), 5* Emma with 4*krakoa, and kang with proxima

    If all fire, you have 7 red ap and some random green ap

    You're not optimized enough. I think there's a faster team for easy nodes (that doesn't have supports firing -- those cost a few seconds) and you maybe can't oneshot the essential node unless May is 550?

    There's also just clicking speed. At the very very top there is some skill/dexterity involved in navigating all the screens quicker than everyone else.

    Also sounds like they're not waiting for a flip. I highly recommend doing that if you wanna place high.

    Isn't Polaris a liability because if you happen to match a special then her passive fires and that takes a bit of extra time placing tiles etc. She essentially pointless on this team since all you need is Juggs/Grocket.

    Right, if you're trying to get as fast as possible, you've got to eliminate those extra seconds from procs like that.

    Yeah I used to use another gaurdian; Polaris was when I was initially looking to just not have to switch away from that team at all; it’s ok but it isn’t faster that hulk/omega red/okoye. But for whatever reason I just left it. But there is always a loose match available, you don’t have to match any strikes.

    I was being hyperbolic. I don’t really care about placement. Just amazed really that at 15 minutes after the sub opened I was placed 31.

    Just laughed at how ridiculous that is.

    Normally I dont worry about placement. If I push I can get t20 but I don’t even do that normally.
    But if it is going to be this crazy I’ll probably just play less and shoot for top 100, where I dont have to clear everything every round.
