How terrified are you of the "new leveling system"?

Terrified? Nah. I bet it'll be interesting and the game needs interesting.
Here are some ideas; and I would be happy if they implemented one of these:
If you sell a max champ, then your dupes could go 25 levels higher than before. So, after selling 4 max champs, that character could go 100 levels higher.
OR
Covers applied beyond max champ would level them up at a 1 to 2 ratio, meaning 2 covers for 1 level. Of course, the champ rewards would continue up to 100 levels higher.
OR
Extra levels cost HP based on their rarity, like 1,000 HP for a 4* level or 500 HP for a 3* level.
OR
Have a battle count that after winning 100 battles with a character, you can give them 1 extra level. But this would need safeguards against exploitation in PVE.
OR
Have a weekly play count, where if you use a character at least once each day for a week, then you get “extra level shards” for them at the end of the week.
In all cases, 5*s don’t need extra levels and champ rewards would continue for the lower tiers.

I'd be more interested in knowing why they retired the teaser. Probably because they don't have it 100% already. Do you remember when they said supports would work in pvp?
The proccess to raise stars on a low level character might require a new resource type, might require to play more in order to earn it and/or buy it (monetising more).
As always if there are flaws I'm sure they will rework it according to feedback as they have done it always so I'm fine with this idea.1 -
Let's just calm down, Chicken Little, and see what it's about before we break out the pitchforks.
I just want to see how they do it, because a quick and easy level-up probably doesn't work. Powers at low levels weren't designed for the 5* tier. I'm guessing there's broken shenanigans out there that would kill the game without adjustment.

They should program Bagman powers to get cheaper and better with extra levels making him the new meta

For 9 blue AP, Kang doesn't care how much health he has.

SO terrified. Beyond terrified. Afraid. Don't destroy my game!
Well, isn't the distribution of these votes just a near-perfect li'l bell curve?

I don't understand posting about it at all without some indication of what it entails. The chaos that course of action creates, is just mind boggling.

I feel sorry for @Daredevil217 and his ranking list.

My guess is when you max levelled a 1, 2, 3 and 4 star character, you will get an option to champ them up to the next star tier.
1 -
If such is the case does that mean you still need to retain an extra copy of that character for when they are required at their correct tier?
0 -
They probably will scrap those restrictions so you can use each character at any tier.
0 -
Yeah no.
They will make you roster the correct 3* level copy.
Otherwise PVP is about to go crazy with 5* essentials.
But it's completely insane that there's still no information.
That's how you kill a feature before even introducing it.0 -
Yeah I dunno how moving restrictions is gonna work. It will render DDQ completely pointless if you can use a levelled up 4* version of an essential 2* character. If we do need dupes then well I can't see this going down well...
0 -
I don't see making DDQ faster to finish as a bad thing, the rewards are always the same.
Nothing can beat the coming soon of SCL10!0 -
I just can't see them doing it - it would compromise the entire point of DDQ. If they do then cool but it seems unlikely - unless DDQ is for the chop.

If they give you a loaner for the required character then it fixes the problem.

But that then takes away from the concept of "Dat Required character" or the specific make up of BB.
We could be well off the mark I guess but when for the first time ever roster slots are given out as a reward (to the top Alliances, of course who really need them...) then Spider Sense is tingling a bit.

I’m not thrilled at all. I expect the worst.___What would that be?
We are asking the same group who thought Chasm was balanced to introduce a feature that either invalidates years worth of strategy and work or makes it so convoluted and expensive that it’s D.O.A.
For me personally it’s a fine line. It may be inconsequential or it may be time to bail. Only time will tell.
