I'll leave the concerns about the temperature of the body to you and I'll take instead the concerns about the game, thanks.

New boss events seem to commonly rerun about 3 weeks after their initial debut. Was the same for Sinister Six and such. So, this makes perfect sense.

I believe they were taking input on it via some social channels so there's a chance the re-run will be retuned a bit.

Not surprised. Checking to see if tuning is necessary is probably the reason for rerunning a new boss right after release in the first place, yeah.
BossGargantos hit for a good ~30k already as early as like the 4th round. 4th round bosses are normally a bit toothless. 4* Ghostrider solo'd Garg for me no problem, but I could totally see nerfing his damage in the earlier rounds so smaller rosters have a chance.

If he hit you for 30K, you were using special tile creators *cough* Polaris *cough* and he got off his Black power. That happened to me a couple of times and I was like **** after he one shotted a healthy L300+ Juggs.

No Polaris. Boosted Peggy. My boosted Peggy had 30k health and Garg was able to oneshot her in the early rounds via his blue. That's what gave me the idea to run a Ghostrider team, because I figured I could use that against him. From I want to say Round 5? onwards, I ran tank bait Juggs+support to raise his black match damage to hide Ghostrider/ Ghostrider/third.
Garg firing off his blue pretty much always outright killed 22k Juggs from then onwards too, which I could happily use to kill Garg via Ghostrider.

That's strange. I don't recall Boss Gargantos being any different stats wise that Gargantos we use.

His blue at 5 covers and L255 only hits for 1065 per blue. To be killing a 22K Juggs means he would need like 21 blue when he fired it and the AI alway fires when it gets enough AP (9).

Even in round 8, he was only L320 so he would hit for probably close to 1400K per blue then. But in round 4 he should still have been hitting for well under a 1000 per Blue.

    KGB

P.S. Just realized you used Peggy. So his Blue would have needed to be 13 to fire which would do more damage when it did fire. Still shouldn't have done 20K in round 4.

Boss Gargantos was definitely different than regular Gargantos. For one, his black costs 3 AP (and Peggy didn't affect it, it stayed 3 AP even with her on the field!). And his blue hit very hard very early. I unfortunately don't remember his exact stats-- but I do know he hit for more than 1000/blue AP. That would mean he'd barely do 9k damage and would have just dented boosted Peggy, nothing more. Or Juggs, for that matter. That would have made it a walk in the park and if that had been the case, I would not have needed to make my strategy "revenge kill" from R4-R5 onwards.

So is the clue for the next 5* literally "coming soon" or is the clue coming soon?

My guess, the guy who did all those movie commercials with his "Coming soon...to a theater near you."  Did he have any kind of super powers?

The next movie release is Thor: Love and Thunder, July 8, and the premier is on June 23.

    Our next three releases are:
    June 30 (5*)
    July 14 (4*)
    July 28 (5*)

It's unlikely for the dev to release Thoress tie-in 2/3 weeks (July 14) after it's out in theater because it will be too late.

So, I'm going with 5* Jane Foster or 5* Gorr. 5* Valkyrie will fit the pride month theme and if the dev wants to pull a surprise, we get 5* Korg.  :D

Just not time to reveal the next clue yet. Although "Honest Trailers Man" could be our first 6-Star...
Jon Bailey is totally worthy of being the game's first 6*.

    6/15 - 6/18 Deadpool - Weapon Tex-Mex
    • Placement Rewards: Ronan, War Machine, Hood, Human Torch (Johnny Storm)
    6/17 - 6/20 Odin - All-Father Knows Best *NEW*
    • Placement Rewards: Ronan, Hulkling, Psylocke, Storm (Classic)
    • Note: Ronan rewards likely to change here.
    6/19 - 6/22 Hulkling - King's Court *NEW*
    • Placement Rewards: Scarlet Witch (WandaVision), Wiccan, Angel, Captain America (Steve Rogers)
Following the (usual) alphabetical order for placement rewards, the last 5* character we saw in placement rewards was Professor X (followed by Iceman and Iron Man(?) for the pride month theme). You are skipping Rescue, so probably the "Ronan rewards likely to change here" note suits better for the Deadpool event?
