Yes. Surfer's progression event is this weekend. BSSM's progression event will start Monday.

@ThaRoadWarrior : I mentioned before that we were on the same 5* progression schedule (including the duped 4* Black Widow).

Funnily enough, with 1 to go, the Meet Rocket & Groot PVE progression rewards are what we both need to finish. You need BSSM, and I need Reptil. I probably won't quite manage to get enough Reptil covers by the end of the event, but it seemed a nice bit of symmetry

Yeah that is a really fun bit of coincidence! I've kept my 4* parked on Iron Spider even though the shards I need are here in progression, and I need 5x more covers. I'll surely finish this event before that happens though. I did go through and distribute my shards onto Frost and She-Hulk even though both are still growing.

With all classics champed, you could always move your 4* target to Shulk (and 3* too, if she's mid-range or higher) and get the extra iShulk covers that way.

I just moved my 3* target to Arcade as 5* Arcade is my lowest covered at this point.

I may if it comes to that. I think I’m going to grind Juggernaut up to max since I use him for easy clears everyday, and there are nodes every so often where I’m a couple hundred points from a single swipe win if two enemies start above 4300 health like the maggia bald guys will sometimes do. Right now he is at 324, so I’ll work on him till it’s a guaranteed single swipe win.

Black Suit is champed, just four short human years after the dawn of the Kitty/Rocket reign of terror. Can’t wait to take him for a spin lol.

I am now caught up through Chasm at the 5* tier.

I am on day 2,474. I champed my first 5* (ghost rider) back in 2019, so it took 3 years of dedicated grind that straddled the introduction of bonus heroes, the retirement of bonus heroes and their supercession by shards, the introduction of saved covers, and SCL10 (possibly even 9, I don't recall) to get to this point.

I'm inching toward the same goal of fully-covering (everyone knows that I don't champ them) all of the 5s. I have 48 done, with 4 more in my sights before year-end.

I'm considering rostering all the 1* characters now, just to have one of everyone. For a long time I've just had a single one for DDQ, but it seems now like a good time economy wise with the reduction in slot costs etc to go ahead and do it. I moved my 4* from Iron Spider over to Juggernaut this morning. My 3* is still on Spider-man, probably stay there till he hits that last block of iron spider shards, and then I'll just walk it around to re-champ the flips I've done. My 5* for now is going to stay parked on next-unchamped-out of latest, so She-Hulk for the time being. I'm super far along on Emma, so I'll probably go back to classic once She-Hulk is champed.

Surprised you never rostered more than a single 1*. Your alliance must be very casual. I have 1* Spiderman and Widow rostered just so I can send his Purple and her Blue TU's in addition to the L40 Juggs. Interestingly enough, I don't even bother with the 1* DDQ node any more since with the addition of the 2 new nodes you can reach all rewards without playing the 1* node and I don't need the 200 ISO.

I’m still not actively chasing the last four classics I need to champ. Captain Marvel needs 1 cover, Gambit and Rescue need 2 covers and Havok needs 3. I’ll get them champed eventually.

I now have 16 maxed 4* with 17 more in the 360s.

Looks like going forward I will be able to champ most of the new 5*s without too much trouble barring incredibly bad luck.

Things are going pretty smoothly. I also have 10 million iso and 4.7 million red iso if they ever decide if it will be important for something when we are post iso.

Gratz TRW! It's been a long haul, but you've kept at it and inspired others. I'm keeping up with latest, but still have 23 classics to finish, so it's going to take me a bit longer. The new dev team is certainly helping with more latest covers in regular boss events and feeders right out of the gate.
That gives me more opportunities to use CP in classic legends.

My alliance is so laid back we're horizontal lol. I don't mind; it would be nice to be able to finish alliance events but it's whatever really.

I was looking over my roster to see how far I was from champing all the 5*. I have 52 that are unchamped and need covers. For a total of 488 5* covers needed. If every 5* I pulled out of classics was a needed cover, it would take me roughly 3250 pulls.

But with new 5* entering the game with covers and feeders, I'm needing less resources to champ the Latest Legends and might be able to start pulling from Classics.

Ordinarily I'd tell you that most of the vintage characters are just trophies, but this new dev team seems to be committed to rebalances, and those they've done have been pretty good actually, so now i feel like it's a pretty good time to be a champ-em-all type player.

Yeah, I have enough champed 5* to compete. Most of them are tiny, Dr. Strange at 466 is my highest. I'll probably focus on championing the classic characters I have with the most covers and work my way down.

I got She-Hulk champed, and I could technically do a 3:1 conversion to fully cover Emma thereby being completely caught up on covers for available characters for a day. I don’t have the iso to champ her though, so I’ll probably let it ride and see how it goes to keep pulling for her.

It's tempting, just to be in that position eh? But considering there is so much time left to pull her probably not the best use of resources.

You completed your Classics way earlier than I estimated. It's quite funny to see players "at a loss" or feeling empty after champing all their Classics. I'm about 20 5* away from champing all the Classic 5*. The only logical step is to look for synergies or aim for 550 gradually by pulling in special stores.
