I’d read it as singular since he used a singular noun, and used plural elsewhere.  And given d3 track record of late with feeders, we should be thrilled with 1 since it’s been 3 months since the last one.

I never said anything about the IW celebration one way or another, nor did I say people couldn't be critical. Putting words in my mouth so you can disagree with them isn't cool.

I said the people who are acting like it's a failure before it's even gotten started are ridiculous, and that they aren't being constructive. There are plenty of people who are critical that managed to express hopes for improvement.

We all hope Endgame is better than Infinity War for MPQ, and people that are acting like it has already failed aren't doing anything but spreading negativity. Why do you defend that? There are plenty of people with valid criticism, why not support the ones that want to take it and build up, instead of the ones who only want to tear down?

It's not in bad faith.  And no, you didn't mention IW, because it is one of the many reasons why people were "negative."

One comment.  Only one could even be construed as overtly negative, yet it is completely based on context and history.  Especially when this "week 1" is pretty close to identical to other weeks we have seen around here before. 

I'm sorry that it felt like i was putting words in your mouth, so i will just copy your words from above to be safe.  Show me the ones who want to "tear it down,"  "are acting like it already failed," and "doing anything but spreading negativity." (I will already concede that the bottom comment is subjectively meeting that criteria, but i think we can both agree that one comment doesn't deserve "You aren't contributing to anything, you're just making the place worse for the rest of us.")

Don't be sorry, week 1 is a total failure and history says the rest will be just as bad. Of course, hope i'm wrong, but probably won't be. If D3 wants some positivity they will have to earn it.

This all the way. D3 has just too many bridges. I have zero faith in them to deliver anything other new characters, money grab costume or cover packs, and some recycled villian pve. 

We'll get a feeder(s), but that the selection of that feeder is absolutely important. 

I quickly need to have some reasons to WANT to spend my money on this game. 

This start ain't helping that. Even merely having double iso (and I'm post-iso) would have said "we're trying, Guys."

That's what it reads like to me.  Single node daily for Cinema Showdown. 

Infinite Pursuit sounds like a new PVE.  Hopefully with some of the lessons learned and implemented with the Cap M one that had single play loaner nodes etc.

2 new 4s and a new PVE don't exactly fill me with joy.  I'm almost at 1900 days, I don't think any big exciting changes are coming so not sure how much further I'll make it.

Yeah, "12 Days.." gave 3 x 4* covers and 11,250 Iso-8 for 12 (non-wave) nodes of work.  It's hard to find better bang for your buck in this game, except perhaps Crash of the Mad Titans, which is also always welcome [hint hint, devs ].

I wasn’t being negative but 1 node a day doesn’t get me excited for a “celebration”. Let’s see something new and unique not a rehash of an old event that is just re skinned.   Just my opinion is all. .

We do like it, and the rewards this past Xmas were solid (3 4*s were available from playing 1 node a day for 12 days) if you were a 4* or below player. Not much there for 5* players like Rockett. Not even a new 5* as the next release is a 4* Ronin/Hawkeye so it's at least 3-4 weeks to the next 5*!

I suspect *many* players were hoping for MUCH bigger changes to the game. Not necessarily 6* characters but big shakeups to the game itself:

5* feeders - apparently getting one, ideally more.

For PvE maybe that would be CL 10, changes to number of clears required/reward structure, removal of timers/timed based clearing.

For PvP maybe CL 10, changes to MMR, different events like run 3*/4* PvP concurrently or more required character choices instead of a single one (like the offseason events).

Possibly the new Support Circuit (or whatever replaces it) announcement.

Potentially new game mode with different win conditions (endlessly asked for and many suggestions outlined here on the Forums)

New UI changes to improve roster selection, opening multiple tokens etc.

This movie is literally the culmination of 10 years of the MCU with the MCU being changed forever afterwards (by probably character deaths/arcs) so a massive change/shakeup to MPQ would have made sense to introduce at this time.

Yup - MUCH bigger changes would be great.  Can't say I'm surprised that we just get the same as usual.  

Would love UI changes and updates to the general grind, but don't see it coming.  I'm old in game days and cynical now.  I'd love to be surprised somehow, add something game changing for such a big event.  The game is stale at the 5* level and needs a refresh.  Any or all of KGB suggestions are  a great way to start or add something brand new that we're not expecting.  

As it is I think this will be my own end-game.

A lollipop would be different.  It does not need to give me a reward or a cover just a lollipop to make me feel better like when you were a kid and went to the dentist.

I was hoping for that! I have a milion things to level that are all hungry for iso, this will help a bit.
