    While I'm unaware of what the exact design intent is for A World Reborn, it is theoretically possible for us to schedule a challenging PVP event along-side it.

    The idea would likely require significant support from majority of players here though and would need a strong reason for running a second event alongside a Coalition one, especially since adding another event alongside it would require diverting QA and Engineering resources to get it all ready in time.

    It's an interesting idea, but that would likely require new tech to be developed, and it is the unfortunate case that it would certainly not be created in time to make it into next weekend's schedule.

    I think it would be easier to add a third node to AWR so that it was similar to other PvE events.

    It's not like Dominaria is light on story or history, being the primary plane for the first 15 years if the game.

    I like AWR. I liked RotGP the first times we played it, now is repeating the same time after time.

    I do not think running 2 coalition events at the same time would be a good idea.

    I also don't mind AWR, makes for a relaxing weekend where I have plenty of time for other things.

    It's worth paying attention to the expected number of matches when scheduling, though.  An AWR weekend would be a good time to run something like Nodes of Power on the single-player side, because it's got five nodes going.  Something like Across Ixalan, which you can conclude by playing 3-4 matches and then not bothering with again, should probably be paired with a more intense coalition event like Avacyn's Madness or The Dragon War.

    It's only weekends where you give us a five-node coalition event on top of a four- or five-node solo event that I start feeling the strain, personally.

    @Brigby I’d love to see a PVP run concurrent with AWR. Do you want to put up a poll? Would that get us to “significant”?

    It's a request that comes up regularly!
    The event is absolutely aimed at new players (you get cards mixed in your deck helping you winning, and neither the secondaries nor the fights are really challenging). I've got bronze players easily achieving +90%.
    I'd be all in for that. It'd be a nice pair with duel decks IMO, or literally any single player pvp event!

    This could be an issue for coalitions with players of mixed mastery levels unless point progression for both events were made identical and scores from both events went into each other.

    I don't mind if another event is run when AWR runs, as long as it's NOT another coaltion event. I like having weekends with more time for other stuff.

    HoD #twenty-something is scheduled the same day. The question mark event is likely another single player pve event *sight*
