Is this the start of periodic Classic Legends stores? This is a really good idea for people with key 5*s that still need covers.4

Wowza 74.99 is a bit steep.... way too rich for my blood.
I just bought Resident Evil 2 for 59.99 and that's an entire game!22 -
I got a $60 Amazon gift card for Christmas that I haven't committed to using yet. I like the costume. The tokens and HP are good, especially since Gobby and BSSM are two of my worst covered 5*s (BSSM is my worst) and I'll be in the thick of building a 3* farm in the next several weeks.
But I *still* am having a hard time pulling the trigger on this. Mostly because I don't want to give the impression that this is a good, sustainable offering for costumes moving forward.
Still haven't made up my mind 100 percent, we'll see.2 -
Yeah, nah.

The HP is the only thing that doesn't make this offer completely ridiculous. As it is, it's just slightly ridiculous.3
-
I wish we'd have had more heads up about the Masked Vengeance vault. Would have pulled quite a bit, instead I'll pull a few and probably get no 5*s. Exciting.
Also the ruination of a good idea (costumes) continues due to price gauging... yay?
Remind me why I play this game again...5 -

Thor’s bundle was 15k HP and 75 CP, same price. It seems like this is a lesser deal to me.
Not to mention so few people run Goblin, and you’re unlikely to see this costume very much.8 -

Vote with your wallets! Which means vote by not using your wallets. We can accomplish a lot by doing nothing.
I do like the idea of a periodic classic Legends store though.......but I wish we had more warning! The lack of communication makes players hoard resources for unexpected opportunities. Please stop making us hoard resources!10 -
By the way, we're still waiting for costume availability (and I quote), "to players who reach particular achievements in the game." So far, the only achievement I am aware of which I can accomplish to gain a costume is to open my wallet.
Also, the costumes so far have been largely underwhelming. Who's clamoring for a Green Goblin costume? I'm still trying to wrap my head around Deadpool with lady parts, Kamala in jeans, and Cage in shorts. Are these things truly meant to inspire spending?

I continue to be baffled and flabbergasted at decisions made on what to offer the community for purchase.5

I've been suggesting constantly rotating 5* special stores for ages (and I'm sure I haven't been the only one), so well done for finally plucking one of those out of thin air. Please let this be the beginning of them being a regular thing, giving people a vaguely viable route to cover old 5*s.The bizarrely expensive routes to get costumes continues to be a weird policy, but I wouldn't pay 99 cents for them, so I'm probably not best placed to comment.1

I am glad the devs are using costumes to develope more revenue streams as it does not give an advantage to spending, but dam $75?? I also play clash royale and they sold emotes for $3.00 for 3 and then eventually in game currency. Yes they had some special packs for $20 with chests and emotes.0

This is starting to become insulting.7

I ended up spending HP into the vault that had the C4ge costume and got it, but i did that because I was chasing the C4ge cover in there (which I also got). I'm still totaly f2p0

Just wanted to add my support of the occasional store (not tied to a new release) that offers improved odds on Classic 5's. I'd prefer they were 20 CP stores, but apparently that's not an option.
I do wish they would have spaced this offer out from the Doom new release store, as I spent a good amount of CP in there and then used up the remainder in the Latest store today before the store appeared in game. A player-friendly way to go about this would be to wait a couple week or so for Doom to join Latest and then offer this type of store in case people want to use some CP on it. Not everyone even has these characters, and might want to try to pull one of them.
But I can't say if the devs' intent is to help us cover 5's or just keep presenting us options to use our CP up.
There is the obvious truth that the developers want to make sure you feel you are making progress in the game, or you will quit, vs giving you too much progress, and then you quit because you met your goals. So there is always the balance they would presumably be hoping to achiever there, and overlapping stores definitely pushes against you getting ahead of things.
Another thought I had was that going back, we had the chain bundles that annoyed me because you didn't know - until someone bought them - what you would see next, or where it would end. It was an exercise in hiding information from consumers to see what they would do. I presume the result was not what they wanted since that hasn't repeated.
Now we have Support offers, and a costume offer overlapping with the new character vault and CP store, along with another CP store for 3 classic characters. Is it just to try to offer as many things at once to see what people do? Try to keep spending going? Who knows. I do know it feels overwhelming. And only a week ago we had some Fantastic Four bundles. Will 2019 be the year of constant offers/bundles?1
