    I really like Thud.  It's efficient, versatile, and opens up new deckbuilding opportunities.

    If you have a creature in hand you want to cast, but your board is clogged with creatures, you can thud one of them and cast the new creature.

    If you gain control of one of your opponent's creatures, you can thud it to deal damage to them.

    If you have a spell which requires you to only have 2 creatures to cast, you can thud one of your creatures and cast that spell.

    If your creatures are disabled through some stupid white enchantment, you can thud one of them and maybe kill your opponent anyway.

    If you have a creature that spawns a token creature, you can thud one of your creatures to make room for it.

    If you have some objective which requires you to win in x turns or less, you might be able to thud out your way to victory.

    As an added bonus, if your opponent's Etali, Primal Storm steals your Thud, it's likely to cast it on Etali, and save you the trouble of trying to kill it.

    Thud + Darigaaz is lots of fun. Also, Thud won't kill your creature if you manage to get Prevent Damage on it! Nahiri has some pretty cheap temporary Prevent Damage spells and Dauntless Bodyguard, Thud could become the best burn spell available pretty easily. Until they fix it.

    That definitely sounds like a bug, but I really want Thud regardless.  Fling is one of my favorite cards in paper and that's basically what Thud does here
