New Greg is depressingly bad at making matches again. I feel like I'm playing the game against a toddler now. :(

But he still cascades like mad.

Yep and that's the problem... The cascades need to be dampened down, but his intelligence back (for platinum at least), but maybe that's actually hard for them to do? Do they actually know why it's cascading more now?

Does it actually cascade more now? Except for you and some others insisting all over the board that this is the case, I did not see any signs. Quite the opposite : Smart Greg triggered more cascades because he made rationally smarter moves - current Greg is stupid and inefficient as he used to be.

He is soooo cascading soooooo much more.  In platinum I’m sometimes lucky if there are 3 colours to match my plainswalker then Greg’s turn and all he’ll breaks lose and I’m left with nothing.  Just three loyalty gem matches

It's really hard to say for sure because it's random anyway... I _think_ games with gem changes (or smart greg) cascade a lot more than they used to, but you are totally right, it might be in my head too...

RtO green node has medium gem changing on both sides (still bugged too). For the first time I saw Greg get three matches from the sky after just a two or three step cascade. The cascade opened a three by three hole, and three matches stacked on top of each other fell in. I've seen less match-5s from above though.
