Ladies Who Play MPQ?

Well, we do have one lady in X-Poles, yet she seems too shy and timid to show on forums. Which is so cute
What is more, she's the girlfriend of one of our members, DaerPL, which means I probably can't kick her, ever, as that would bring Daer's furious revenge on me, and most likely his brother's, too (yep, we've got him on our squad as well. Come to think of it, it may be the time to change our alliance name to DaerPL's Significant Others).0 -

I'm a lady also.
I usually don't join any gaming forums or indeed play games that require socialising online - I get hassled enough in real life, don't want to add more! I know they're not all bad, but I've got a low tolerance threashold for 'trash talk'; not because I'm female, I just don't like the distraction/annoyance it causes me!
I loved the other Puzzle Quest games so I had to get MPQ when I saw it about a month ago. Then when I started playing it I found it to be VERY light on the instructions side of things (most unlike the other PQ games), so tried googling for answers. A few links later bought me to this forum, and about a week after browsing as a guest I felt confident enough to join.
The forum is great, really well moderated without being too restrictive. I have a lot of heavy gamer friends that would envy the quality of threads found here, especially regarding gameplay info and advice.
Anyway, it's nice to be here, and feel comfortable enough to post0 -
We have 3 ladies in ScarFighters, only 2 are actually playing (1 is an advisor/forumer)...but maybe more
Just 3 of our members we don't know exactly if they are men or women...or both ?0 -
Well, I wouldn't say I'm a lady Definitely not a bloke though. And none of the other 4 members of my alliance are either. Tbh, I don't normally get involved in the social aspect of online games, unless the player base is heavily skewed towards women in the first place (burned too often etc), but this forum seems nice enough on the whole.0

This is a pretty cool forum really. Nice and respectful to everyone unless you're a fitted kitchen salesperson.
Although I had seen that Avengers gif before and had it on my list to make for my alliance but Django Unbuffed got there first. QQ
Hey, i added those rain effects and the amazingly shiny glitter text myself. That took me nearly 4 minutes.
Very nice work. I couldn't have done it so it's probably for the best that someone not me made a logo with it.0 -
Hi!
We're two of the ladies Fritejay just mentioned. Our names are Janaina (who's the player) and Daniela (who's the 21st element, translator, advisor in her spare time, and forumer ). The nick is danikalil, because it was I, Daniela, who started playing in the first place. Later Janaina stole the game from me
We still have a third female member, FaerieMyst.
Nice to meet you all!Rusalka wrote:*waves* I'm a lady, and so are the other four players in my alliance.
What's the name of your alliance, Rusalka? BTW, nice nick!0 -

I feel like the MPQ community is generally a safe place for me as a lady; the guys here tend to be fun and respectful lads. But I also get super excited at the rare occurrence of another lady player, and was wondering if there were others out there.
Also, if you want to respond, but are hiding behind a masculine identity (like I have been for the most part), feel free to send me a PM instead.
On Topic: I saw an alliance called something-girls
Off Topic: @Unwiseone: that's my favourite DjangoUnbuffed gif thus far.
It probably was Hero Girlz
I made the alliance for my daughter since she loves the game and thought it was a cool name. I think everyone in there is female.
If any ladies are looking for an alliance....let me know and we'll get you added to Hero Girlz

Hi I've been wondering about other ladies playing here, so thanks for making this topic! I echo some other posters, I hardly ever 'out' myself as a girl (just in case) but I've been pleasantly surprised with the community here (too bad I spend so much of my free time in the game instead of coming here ).
And thanks for the word on the off-topic thread, I'm going to go find it now!0 -
I'm a lady! I am the leader of Double Trouble.0

Hey Ladies!
Gold Daken! Hot or Not?!
(I think he is quite the looker. Despite being all crazy and stuff... Or maybe that adds to the attraction? Lol)0 -

How did I know you would be the first to respond?
Hey unwiseone? How about a nice graphic involving rain and gold Daken for me? Lol0 -
Daken is so far the best looking guy in the game, tops.
BTW, though I read all Marvel comics for years on end, I hadn't read any of the Daken comics, and I looked them up after I started playing the game. Daken's love machine attitude is quite...thrilling. I thought he was a very interesting character, what with being bisexual and all. I'm surprised people don't talk about this side of him.0 -

Oh really? Since he just jumped to the top of my list of characters to read about, I will need to investigate this side of him too... And the sides with the muscles and tats0 -
Huge response post:reckless442 wrote:I'm also a lady, though I'm so used to posters assuming otherwise that I don't bother correcting them.
I had no idea! Yay!Peacemaker wrote:I know- I'm a lady myself(ugh, it still feels so awkward referring to myself as a 'lady'. Might as well just say biological female.)and I'm pretty much used to people automatically assuming I'm a man in a lot of communities, too. I can hardly blame them though, since I assume most people to be male as well
Hello! Pleased to make your acquaintance!Amanda1983 wrote:I'm a lady also.

Hello!
That's precisely why I was hesitant about coming out as a lady at first—fear of harassment. So far that hasn't been an issue at all though, which is really great.Carthl wrote:Well, I wouldn't say I'm a lady Definitely not a bloke though. Sorry, everyone, for the odd choice of "lady" as a gender label! Didn't want to use "female" and exclude any trans people, and for some reason I tend to use "lady" over "woman."
In any event, hello! I definitely understand not wanting to get burned. I think that's part of the reason I wanted to create this thread—to create visibility, but mostly to network with other ladies so we all feel supported here.danikalil wrote:Hi!
