S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 1

So we have another Joki tourny tomorrow huh.. yay....

Im hoping to get under 500 points or so. Sure hope I dont get attacked too much.


I do hope we get Hotshot during this season perhaps at the end. I've been leveling my Torch like crazy. If we get lucky, I have confidence I can get my 5000 points.

And ugh...yet another grind fest. Worked my way up to 1043 for 5th in Brakadoom, but still stayed as 12th in season 1 with 9,401. Leader in mine is about 5k over, and I've placed pretty decently in all of the event thus far. Guess I'm going to have to dip into the shield sim pond some.

How were brackets decided in this one and why are brackets in this one so uneven? I'm not even holding onto a top 50 spot (slipping in and out constantly) with over 8000 points while some are comfortably top 25 in their bracket without having reached 5000. And I'm running a two star roster, not a single usable three star.

Top spot in my bracket goes to ARES, with over 13,000 points right now.

Moving forward, is this sort of bracket inequality what we should expect out of Season 2?

not sure, I don't think anyone really knows right now.

and about season 2....please, give at least a week break between the two. Wore out from season 1, lol.

14k.. Whether its one of the top player from shield claiming 1500 Pts each event or he has pounded really hard the sim.. Or maybe both (in which case anyone in your bracket can say farewell to top spot)..

What bothers me is the extreme grind the season pushes for all of us.. I have no business in playing the god of lies event.. My loki and im40 are covered maxed.. I dont really need iw and wolvie as i dont invest in them atm.. But im gonna try to claim my bracket just for season purpose and prevent some 2-3* to make progress.. Thats not what is supposed to be..

If you joined after a bunch of events then season brackets will logically have lower scores.
That's probably where that's coming from.
Like with people who have JUST joined a bracket from entering the Rags tourney, realistically 1st would have maybe 3k max (if he pushed simulator the same time as rags pvp)?

It's mainly because of Nick Fury. If he wasn't the alliance prize, and it was just a bunch more heroic 10 packs, no one would care.

Without naming any names, there's someone in my alliance with under 5000 points but currently apparently in the top 20 of his bracket, although he is one of those cases where he started season 1 late, having missed the first couple of events (as Twysta noted above).

Still, the ridiculous disparity...

@waytooeasy season is all yours mate.. 1250 Pts in rag.. 1500 in sim.. I saw you ve done pretty well in rag.. Luckily, you didnt want to confront these 10k + rag..

Oh, I see. It's so obvious in hindsight. The hardcores will naturally not be the ones missing entire events, so entering late by even a couple events could easily lead to bracket leaders having 4000+ points less than bracket leaders in early brackets.

WEll when you consider each event is worth ~1k points, 5k for top 25 seems quite reasonable missing 2 or more events
