For Dormammu U, Felux took the lead with 1581 points. For Latveria State, I went a little crazy and took first with 1806 points (which was barely good enough for 5th place in my bracket). In the interest of fairness, if I had not moved to Latveria, Captain Rex would have won another one with 1647 points.

Season 8 came to an end. An abrupt end. A premature end. But all is well here, we were ready! Dormammu U finished the season in 18th place, earning 1000 , 50 , and Thoress . Latveria State finished in 49th place, earning 500 , 25 , and Thoress .

For Dormammu U, Jim1200 finished in first with a paltry 15600 points. For Latveria State, I finished in first with an amazing 16140 points, putting Jim to shame to take the overall title!! This upset was last accomplished back in Season 4, leading me to believe I should take him again in Season 12. Again, in the interest of fairness, had I not moved to Latveria, Captain Rex would have handily taken first with 15388 points.

Dormammu U members averaged 11579 points for the season, Latveria State member averaged 8566 points for the season (again assuming Pam and I didn't swap). Ten events in the season, so overall, Dormammu U members scored 1158 points per PvP, and Latverians scored 857 points per PvP. Without the swap, it looks like Latveria would have just missed the top 100. We will know for sure once the rest of the scores get posted in the Season VIII Ranking thread. And when I say just missed, I mean it. Another 3300 points overall would be enough for 91st place, which is already posted. That works out to an extra 165 points per member in the Simulator. For those that check here and were in the bottom half or so of the alliance, set a goal for next season to try to boost your overall season points by 200. The easiest way to do this is to do what you did this season, and get an extra 20 points in the simulator during every PvP. If you can't remember what you had in the simulator, head to the spreadsheet, total your PvP scores, subtract from my season overall point entry. For those at the top end, great job, keep calm and grind on! But don't forget to keep helping others, we all started with a single cover 1* character and built from there, and that transition hasn't gotten easier.

Hey If you guys are looking for someone to join you for season 9 I would love to join you guys if you would have me. I took a break from the game last season and now I am ready to compete again. I usually get around 500-700 in PVP. I don't know how to shield hop or anything like that but I am always open to feedback. Just looking for a long term home. Geeked out hardcore last night and whipped up some signature banners.

Latveria State (Top 100 Alliance) & Dormammu U (Top 25 Alliance) seek new members in their quest for world domination. We currently have one opening in each alliance.

The application requirements are as follows:

1a) Dormammu U - 900+ points in PvP (Alliance minimum is 600 points as our tripwire, more about that below in item 3.) Season goal should be 10,000+ points.

1b) Latveria State - 700-800 points in PvP (Alliance minimum is 500 points as our tripwire, again, more below.) Season goal should be 8000+ points.

2) No explicit PvE requirement except that you make every attempt to acquire all new characters. We expect participation in each PvE, but have no tripwires other than blatantly blowing off the event.

3) If you are going to fail to meet either of the above requirements due to "real life" issues, you must notify a commander ahead of time. If you fail to do so 2 times within a season, you will be disenrolled from the institution. If you inform us ahead of time, no harm, no foul as we can then plan to ensure all alliance members can still obtain the alliance cover rewards.

4) You MUST communicate with our consortium (Dormammu U & Latveria State) utilizing the Line App. This will allow you to fluidly communicate with members of both alliances allowing for the quick dissemination of arcane knowledge.

5) No explicit roster requirement provided you meet can meet the above criteria. Having said that, you must have at least a 3* roster to be considered for Dormammu U (which is more a function of the fact you won't reach the 900+ scores without that roster).

6) No drama, no jerks, we are looking for friendly people that enjoy the game and would enjoy being a part of a successful alliance.

If you meet the above criteria and have a burning desire to see all those before you subjugated, PM me with your average PvP score, Season 9 final score, roster highlights, in game name, name of current alliance (if any) and any additional questions you might have. You may also find me on Line (Beast1970 as well there).

We have no desire to turn this game into a second job. To us, the Line app requirement enables all 40 alliance members to participate in multiple alliance chat groups, and the interactions there is what keeps this game fun for us. We also have a great track record of helping our transitioning members with their roster development through advice from multiple members that are now over the one year mark playing this game. Latveria State was created during the Anniversary and finished in top 100 every season. Dormammu U has been around since Season 1 and has been top 100 since Season 2, top 25 since Season 5.
