  • After examining the entire drop table for evil LR tokens, all I can think is NOPE! Not wasting 1.5 hrs of my life for a less than 3% chance. Better to use host time to work and buy the skills I want a la carte. This money grab trend in tokens sucks because what was once a fun event is now a big tank fiesta.

    It's actually closer to ~.85% rounded up to .9 for readability at one decimal place. .85*2 = 1.7% .85*3=2.55 or 2.6 rounded to one decimal place. That would be double and triple chance respectively. Comparative value notwithstanding, the pack isn't lying.

    I see. So it's triple chance compared to heroic pack. Not triple chance compared to Diabolic single pack.

    huh, look at that
    the odds of pulling a third tier villain (doom, loki, rags) as a reward for diabolic LRs is equal to or at best slightly greater to pulling a 4* from a heroic token
  • I think they also secretly raised the probability of getting Bagman in Heroic tokens.
    Something like 4 out of the last 8 Heroic tokens I opened pulled Bagman.
    Though the red Punisher I got to complete my build was a greatly appreciated consolation.

    In other news, Day 110 and I've still never, ever pulled a Spideman from any token. icon_cry.gif

    I have a spare yellow right now, going to be sold in 2 days or so... I've probably sold 4? From tokens I've gotten maybe 2 or 3, from heroic tokens, not from standards.
    It's just amazing to me. Such a statistical anomaly boggles the mind. I've pulled everyone else from a token of some sort. Everyone.
    After being introduced to Spiderman way back in the Prologue almost 4 months ago, I was looking forward to using him.
    Still waiting.

    The GUARANTEED part was what got me to buy these packs when I needed them to get to the nodes in pve. With the 2* award nerf, how can they expect new players outside Pax to stay interested..?!
  • This is not a good change. I didn't read the thread but I don't think there is any upside to this.
  • I am wondering if this has anything to do with it. This is from the tournament season discussion.

    Yup my streak of purple bullseyes switched to a bunch of bagman, then reverted back to cstorm and obw. But I've pulled 2 spideys from standards in my time so I'm more than happy to serve mpq gods for now..!

    OR, more likely, the '10-pack as a prize' is a rough draft, so that they can allude to it, but will be 'fixed' by the time the tournament seasons go live...
