I'm veteran there, max level and having all heroes and if i had to start from 0 again i would give up.
I think many people would say that about this game as well.

Well problem is there are a lot of heroes there and PvE events "Spec Ops" require you to have 3 heroes they chose in order to finish it and get a free hero.
If you dont make it you have to wait till they release him as limited offer for a lot of CP (in game currency) which again means a lot of farming.
I just think for new players there too much farming to catch up or simply pay the money!

    Congrats guys!

Whats with this new PVE event? Got any hints or tips for me?
I have 3 empowered heroes (CSpidey, Thor and OBW) so i finished starting and base attacked mission. Should i keep farming points? Ofcorse when timer runs out so i an get full points.

Doing the missions is a great way to get more iso. Typically you don't do every single refresh, but one clear every once once in a while is a good way to get points. Just keep trying to get HP for opening slots. That's all you should need to be doing.

Hey, guys. I just joined the casual alliance and assumed this was still the thread to use; I'm actually fairly experienced with the game (been playing it since January or so), but I left my old top 100 alliance and stopped trying to play every event once season three started. I didn't want to dedicate so much time to a simple game like this, especially when I started to max out a few three stars and didn't need as many covers, so I'm glad to be here - especially since this means I can start picking up alliance rewards again (doesn't matter if it's just a little iso).

I'm always happy to help out if I somehow can, too, so hopefully we'll all be best buddies.

Those event missions are easy since i have 3 powered up heroes so i can repeat nodes when they refresh. Ofcorse, dont have time to do it all the time and as soon as they refresh.

PvP is over for me, i dropped out of top 30 and down to 60s now... So sad, i keep getting opponents with 3* heroes. Not fair icon_e_sad.gif

Welcome to the alliance elusive. I was hoping we could get a mix of players, some new and some experienced so glad to have you on board. Hopefully you can help out some of the newer chaps with questions they might have. We will hopefully get a chance in season 4 for some from XStatIIX to rotate up to the main alliance for an event or two to give players a break and hopefully make sure we keep getting the alliance cover rewards.

There is a thing in PVE called scaling which means that the more a node is completed the harder it and other nodes will get. This means if you keep grinding every node early on then you might not be able to do new nodes later and the new nodes will have iso that you need to get as much of as possible. There is also some community scaling (which is based on each individual node so if for example node 2 is completed 1 million times in total then it's enemies will increase by x levels) which means that as everyone else completes the nodes they will again gradually increase in difficulty. This has been much more gradual recently which is good as some of the tournaments when they first introduced it got insanely difficult. Then there is rubberbanding which means that the further behind the leader you are the more points each individual node will be worth to help you catch up. The strength of the rubberband can vary from event to event so this is something you need to bare in mind. It can therefore be beneficial to do nodes later as you will get more points and affect your scaling less because you are not beating the nodes so many times. Some nodes are also worth a lot more points than others so just doing these nodes every so often can help your score without affecting your scaling too much. I trust this is as clear as mud. icon_e_biggrin.gif

At the stage you are at I would not worry too much about your overall placing as much as getting the iso you can from doing the nodes. It would therefore be a good idea to do one run through of the nodes as soon as you can to get the rewards before any scaling makes them too difficult for you to do. You are in a good position for this event as you have 3 of the heroes who are boosted which will not always be the case for someone just building their roster. If you have any more questions then feel free to ask.

Ok, thanks mate! Now i understand it better.
I'll keep doing only those that give me highest event points.
Yeah, got pretty lucky with 3 powered up heroes icon_e_smile.gif)
275HP... Waiting 50 from pvp, possible 50 from pve event...
I am having problem with that 3rd Yelena Blac Widow node (that has 2x50 HP).
I beat it easily first time but now i barely kill 1 enemy before they kill me icon_e_sad.gif

Is that in the PVE event or story mode the black widow node you are talking about? If you give me the name of the node I might be able to give you a pointer or two.

Venom story, node name is Yelena Belova, that node at the bottom.

That is a tough mission. I found the muscle a bigger problem than Yelena so took them out first. It is not helped by not knowing which muscle launched which tile which is something people have been asking for. MStorms green is probably the best move you have got for clearing the board to hopefully take out tiles you cannot reach. Widow's stun is useful, OBWs blue when you get it would help by increasing the countdown on the timers. Its worth remembering they place countdowns on yellow and blue so sometimes it is worth leaving that colour unmatched when you can as if there are only a few on the board they can end up in hard to reach places. Hope that helps.

Yup, muscle is much bigger problem than Yelena. My 1* heroes are all around lvl 30, is that too low for that mission? Or should i focus leveling up my Thor and OBW?
Problem is they always put countdown on tile that i cant match, far from other tiles of same color icon_e_sad.gif

If you have other stuff you can do then carry on and keep levelling up your heroes. Like I said when you get OBWs blue it enables you to increase the countdowns on the timers. Ones you can't reach is MStorm's green, Thor's red produces some yellow tiles which could help to match yellows. It is a tricky mission and sometimes you need to get lucky with where they choose to place the countdowns.

Well, my Thor has red and green skill, OBW purple and black , think i got 3 or 4 covers for 2* storm too.
Maybe i should leave that mission for now and focus on events and ISO. When i level up my 2* heroes i can come back and grab that 100HP...

Guys, it's epic push time. My guess is that we are ~4-5K away from 100, if you could post what you held in reserve so we can see how far we are off that would be great. I'm pretty much topped out. Might be able to get 100-200 more but that's about it. Gunning for 8K, but it's gonna be tough.

Probably 500pts left from Krakadoom, after that it's shield hopping.

    Hi XStatiX,
I'm Remo from the F2P Veterans alliance. Please see my post in the alliances section of the forum for a proposed temporary merger. My rough math according to where we all stand now and a rankings post in the event section of the forums would place half of us in the top 50 for season 3. The other half should stay in the top 250 where we both currently are and not lose anything. Check out my post and discuss it with the rest of your alliance. Send me a pm if you are interested.

Hannybal, I apologize if this seems like I am going over you but I'm trying to reach out to as many players as early as possible.
