It is fairly dense... that annotation project from Comics Alliance was super informative. I've not read it yet, but for $3 I'm going to pick this up as well (just found it searching for the CA Annotations yesterday):

I'm glad you liked the beginning of the run, I hope that holds up through the end (or at least the end of the Forever arc, the last few issues are good but not great in my opinion)! But yeah, understand the collecting bit... 8 long boxes and counting, not to mention a six-foot bookshelf of trades & a burgeoning ComiXology account. *lol*

The reward for Trial by Combat is Loki covers and the Simulator is offering a "new" 2* Human Torch. I will certainly be taking a more casual approach to the Simulator. We are currently 119th in Season 3 so I will be trying to get a good score in Trial by Combat in spite of the event reward.

I'm working all day and all night tonight. I was hoping to cell service this afternoon, but I am only getting 3G and MPQ does not like it. I am going to try to put up some numbers in both events tonight. I know we are taking it easy on both, but I am a few covers short on Loki.

Ok done with trade 3 and now just need the 4th to wrap things up. So Much Going On.

I managed to spike up to 700 last event thanks to a heavily buffed doom ... my she hulk is much less covered so yeah there goes that. I'll try to do my best to get back to at least 400. I'm actually having a little bit more fun in simulator experimenting with teams now that I've upped 6 3*s to 110. I don't think I scare anyone, but at least with true healing I get to play a little with everyone. Hope everyone is having a good 4th weekend.

* and 2 subs + PVP ending at the same time? intense.

Uh-oh.... sorry brother, but you may have more to chew on than originally thought (though to be honest, I'm not sure what issues are in the hardcovers vs. paperbacks, etc.): from the ones I can see at Amazon at least (the US paperbacks), the full epic (ending in 'Forever', as the last volume just kinda wraps up loose ends) is:

Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman, Vol. 1 - Vol. 4
FF by Jonathan Hickman , Vol. 1 & Vol. 2
Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman, Vol. 5

Anyway, from an issues perspective it's Fantastic Four 570-588 - FF (Vol. 1) 1-11 - Fantastic Four 600-604 (605 is in the TPB, but it's 604 that caps the story & brings the feels). It's 100% worth it though if you're enjoying it thus far... OMG, it's all about that last story arc - after so many years of writers who can't end a story to save themselves, Hickman sticks the ending on this thing about as well as anyone I've ever read.

Uploaded my first attempt. Never used PS before. About the only piece I couldn't figure out quite right was the actual picture layer. I can see that most have a sort of blurred/blended outline. I could only figure out how to place an image manipulated elsewhere on top. I can try others if requested and time permitted.

God of Lies is up next with Falcon rewards. Lavs asked for this and spent the weekend levelling up Loki, coincidence? I wonder what other deals people can strike with Loki.

PVPunisher has started up XStatIIX (ii = 2, I like it) so I will be trying to recruit some sociable casual players who can step up into XStatiX when anyone wants a break, gets slammed by work etc.

Sonofa b. Well then it's going to be a while there before I finish up the series then! He's been getting hype for East of West and the slightly older Manhattan Projects. I don't really think of him as a mainstream (Big 2) writer, but I guess he is. I'll have to dig up my copy of Nightly News ... I think I have the full run of that ... though I haven't read it so that means I probably don't ... I try to avoid long boxes when I can these day, they are simply brutal on my back and I'm not getting any younger

Now that I'm at work I notice that I lost a bit of detail/sharpness too. I didn't notice it at home on my **** low-res screen. I'll keep tinkering and see what I can learn.

It was in TU1's farewell thread. I think hurcules (?) also mentioned quitting at the end of S3. There was another thread as well, but old age has gotten the better of me lol.
