    Oh yeah. Black Panther covers for rewards and I have max covered lvl 100 Hood. I think I'm going to try a little harder in this tournament.

    Sweet. I should walk away with at least two BP covers that I need. It looks like he will be the second character that I max.

    It is a little weird that we have gone so long without Lazy Thor as a PVP rank prize.

    Possibly "gold" means less chance to get. Might be only original release and tokens only.

    For BP what is a good working team? My keeps let me down.

    Well at least they switch the covers which I'm missing out on because my alliance will never make it to top 100 (unless I spend HP to enlarge it, which I won't).
    Last time I missed out on the blue cover which I will get this time.

    Nice that there's a yellow Bag Lady at the top, which means I can coast to a lazy top 10 finish, with an 8 hour shield for the final stretch.

    That depends on his level. Right now I am soft capped at 89. At that level, OBW tanks for black and blue. She heals, steals and commits espionage. That espionage really hurts after BP uses his yellow power. You cannot really use BP's blue power with this setup, but I have never used it anyway.

    The third person in your setup should use red and green. Patch and Punisher are fine choices, especially if Patch is 5 red. Bringing Punisher ensures high match damage from green and red, an additional source of strike tiles, an alternative black skill at half the cost, etc. However, Punisher tanks for black at lvl 141, so that is one less chance to commit espionage and gain extra black AP.

    The Hulk also uses red and green. He might tank for black eventually. My lvl 75 Hulk does 31 black damage while OBW does 39. I have not played with him much.

    M. Storm will make a fine third whenever she is buffed. Ares too in Divine Champions.

    I'm taking the plunge and blowing my 150k iso onto maxing out Hood. Hopefully this works out and he becomes the PvP monster that I think he should be.

    I just did the same (but mine was at 128 already). Thinking Punisher and Classic Magneto for this tourney.

    No LT instead? 115 LT might actually be better on defense than 141 Punisher with the Hood.

    Yeah that's a good call on defense. On offense I just miss the strike and attack tiles too much. But the Hood can mitigate the wait time for Thor considerably so we'll see how it goes.

    *UGH* The loss of the 500pt HP progression reward is pretty garbage. If the idea is that everyone has to be in an alliance (i.e. behind the paywall) to remain competitive, just charge money and get rid of all of us chumps who mistakenly assumed the game was f2p.

    We still get the HP progression goal on some tournies, just not this one.

    We have it on Lord Of Thunder, for instance, and we had it recently on the one-star tourney.

Keeping them away isn't getting you my money for her covers. It's keeping me from having to shield for 1st place and saving me money kinda. Blue and green IW please!

    I'm running a lineup of Hood, 2* Wolverine, and OBW right now.

    The combo of Intimidation, Feral Claws, and Adamantium Slash, especially used back-to-back, will mess some people up.

    Exactly, I think I want a 3/5/5. 3/1/2 at the moment and can finish first in the simulator if I want it pretty sure. And I don't really want it, 4th yellow.

    No it isn't. I'm gonna be top 10 in 2 tourney ending nearly the same time that both have yellow IW rewards. I have been winning 1st place in like 3 of every 4 pvp tourney lately and I've got more yellow than I know what to do with. Even if they released 1 of either blue/green that's still a 2/1/0. Why not 1/1/1? Yellow has been a lot more abundant lately.
